I just find it funny that if you wear jeans to work and don't tuck you're shirt in, then you either can't dress, have never looked professional once in your life, or look like a high schooler lol.

And LMAO @ at wearing jeans to work makes you look like a high schoolers as if wearing Dickies aren't any worse.

See, it's just crazy to me to allow Casual Friday or jeans period if you're so worried about keeping up appearances for customers. Why even bother with rules about tucking shirts in, etc. that come up because of that? If you're in an industry that requires a ton of customer interaction and you feel that you want your employees dressed-up, then don't have casual Friday.. it's just muddying the water with unnecessary rules and adding ambiguity to an employee's life. I just don't know why managers would do that to themselves...

I work in a closed area. Pretty much no one dresses up at all. We don't see the need to dress up to impress each other.

Actually when I worked at Circuit City I had to and thought it was dumb as hell. I was the guy that worked in the back of the store getting and loading merchandise for customers. Now that I work at Target as a trailer unloader I just wear dickies and a red tshirt untucked.

Funny that the SAME administrator that pushed for the "tuck your shirt in rule" is walking around the office with a polo on with her shirt tail out. I want to say something so bad. I at least want to ask if it is a purpose double standard or not.
