Just be glad that she didn't literally do this.

I had a similar experience. She was into me enough to give me her number, but we still talked on OKC. I asked if she wanted to go out sometime this week and said sure and when. Haven't heard anything since.

It's simple: a better option (in her mind) has surfaced for the time being. Happened to me after a girl was really into me and then spent the night at my house after a couple dates. A few months later she hit me up asking to hang out.

You are too available. If she tries to set something up just tell her you have other plans.

Actually this works. Sometimes if a girl knows that you are too available, they'll ignore you because they'll be afraid that you'll be too free for them to want to do stuff on a daily basis. That or you're a boring dude who has nothing to do with his life and will become clingy.

Before I met my wife, my past girlfriends, or prospects, would actually call me up more often if I told them I would be busy or had other plans.

I don't know what it is, but something about a man not giving time to a women makes the man more irresistible to the woman.

Have you ever heard of how single women love going after married men? It's because of the fact that they can't technically have them, so they go into this mode that what they can't have, they want even more. Same case for you guys.

Back in my day, I wouldn't call a girl and say, hey I'm not doing anything Saturday, want to hang out? I'd simply say, hey plans with my friends fell through, you want to get together or are you busy? It gives them the thought that a) you thought of her first after your "plans" didn't go through. and b) you're not desperate to hang out with her.

And guys, word of advice, until you find the right one.. Have fun with these sites. There's no point getting emotional because a girl didn't call you or cancelled a date. Don't weep for her cause she's probably not worth it if she didn't call. As Jay-Z would say.. ON TO THE NEXT ONE..

This. You don't have to play any games around it though, just find other things to do and don't initiate any more contact with her.

You can hide your profile from non-registered members and also make it so the other person doesn't know if you viewed their profile unless you press a button that sends them that notification. It's helpful so you don't look like a creeper if you have a short memory and have to visit their profile more then once.

Yeah...keep in mind that when online dating I know I had a bunch of girls I was talking to, and it was tough to juggle everyone and go on the necessary dates to actually get to know someone.

Girls are probably in the same situation, and if they have tons of guys out there they'll be picky. Don't push too hard and if she likes you she'll go out with you, otherwise find someone else on your list.

Man why's this **** got to be so complicated.

What happened to wanting to be with someone, just for the pure fact that you liked them, and they liked you? I guess that "true love" romance **** only happens in movies.

That's probably why I'm so bad at the dating game, there's all these 'unwritten rules' and regulations to abide by, and if you don't follow them to a tee you are either too desperate, and clingy or the opposite end of the spectrum and come on too strong, and acting like a sleeze-ball.

Exactly! What makes it worse is when girls advertise that they "don't play games" yet when you just try to be forward with them they pull this **** anyway. It's ridiculous man.

Its not complicated - just don't let them dictate your life straight out of the gate.

Tweaking my profile this morning. I always feel like I'm not saying much, but I still have more than a lot of people. Trying to be cocky, but also charming.

So had a first date on Friday with a girl I met on OKCupid. We have already talked about a second date, so I guess my question is, from first date to second, do I space out the talking to her? I want to show her that I am interested in her, but not come off as clingy.
