Recently started officially using POF. I signed up in like July and secretly browsed through profiles, but wasn't ready to move on from my last relationship yet. Started talking to one woman and we've really hit it off. We just started messaging on the site and have now exchanged numbers and have been talking ever since. We even talked on the phone yesterday for a bit. We have similar interests, lives, and reasons we're on the site. Taking it slow, we'll see where it goes.NFL: Green Bay Packers

We just started talking on NYE. Didn't talk on Wednesday, then talked for a few hours Thursday night and she asked after I mentioned going out. Maybe I seemed too open and she was trying to figure out if I'm a loser.Comment

I find it an odd question. Anytime I went out with a girl, I always assumed I was one of at least a couple she was entertaining.
And never have I been asked that question unless I've been going out on dates with the girl consistently.
That makes sense as the girl is likely growing interested and wants to be sure the feeling is mutual.
Zero dates? Seems like a clinger. She might not be but I don't know why anyone in that position would ask that question but for a crazy reason.

I think I may have hit the jackpot. I have been talking to this girl a couple of day now on and off and we like a lot of the same stuff. She loves WW2 history, game of thrones and Lord of the Rings along with DC/Marvel stuff. My jaw about hit the floor, lol.
She also wants a PS4, and she is the one that brought this up. I'm still taking it slow but this is the first person I have met on OkCupid or any site for that matter that it seems like there's something there. Wish me luck fellas. It says we have a 80% match rating but I alway think of them as a load of cap but it's true in this situation.

What do people put as their "Headline" on POF? That one is just throwing me off...but I think I'm just over-thinking it too much. OKC sucks in my area so I figured my friends have all brought girls out from here, so I might as well try this site.

Man I'm really bad at creating conversations on these things. In person conversations are so easy and natural, but I always feel lost coming up with something to say online. 90% of the time I just end up going with a derivative of "what's up"

I got visits from all three and a message back from one. I'm about a 6 so I don't consider not getting a response back from two of them a failure. It shows you at least read their profile and tried. Whether you get a message back we all know is if they find your attractive.Comment

I don't use POF often, but mine is "RRB" which is short for Randy Rogers Band. I read on some analysis that women are most likely to open a profile that has a line from a movie or a song. I'm not sure anyone really cares though.
Obviously I'm still single. So take all advice with a grain of salt...Comment
