So not sure if it counts, but reconnected with a girl I had met once before via OKC. It was a brief encounter, but I recognized her face, as I initially met her through a not so close friend a few years back.

We went out a couple times and really hit it off. We've been together 4 months now and things are getting pretty serious. Have officially deleted all my online profiles for the time being and seeing where this thing goes.

I think I've ranted about this before, but damn, women have it easy. It seems like 90% of profiles I read are one big dating profile cliché. I think my new turnoff are girls who are "down to earth". I wish I could say I gave a damn in the end, I'll still message them if they are hot and are interest are the same -_-

The concern for knowing the difference between "there, their, they're" and "to, too, and to" is also one that gets me.

Dude, when you've been online dating on and off for years, every profile becomes redundant. They all want the same thing but don't know what they really want at all.

I stopped taking the profiles seriously. When a girl says she wants a guy that's: honest, funny, smart, hard working, etc basic crap it makes me laugh because what person doesn't want those things from anyone?

That's like saying, "I want a boyfriend that won't cheat on me." Or the equal opposite from a man: "I was a good boyfriend to you because I never cheated on you."

We mentioned should do this again but neither of us made it official. Came home and started up a conversation again texting, amazing lol.

How long should I wait to ask the her for a second meet, most likely being a date this time? There was defiantly chemistry with this girl.

Sounds like a good date man and coffee is a solid way to go. Personally I would pump the brakes a little bit on the conversation. It sounds crazy but being too accessible is a little bit of a turn off for women (yes it's just a generality).

If it were me, I'd text something like this.

Hey I had a great time with you today and we definitely need to hang out again! I know this (insert bar or nice classy place to grab a drink) you should check out with me. I'm available (insert two days) evening let me know what works for you.

@NDAlum, thanks for tip. I know place might be able to grab a drink and maybe eat. When I got home I just texted her saying had a good time and we lived up to the hype. And it's usually her who keeps the talk alive. I'll send something simple and she'll expand it to keep it going.

I'm going to ask her later about going out again. She goes back to school and I go back to nights on the 6th so I'm going to see before that. Hopefully it's a one and done with POF, I won't have to search anymore.

Was on POF for a while and had some really good dates and a short relationship, but recently moved to Match. It's like night and day with the quality of women, much better selection and quality of women on match IMO.
