Having a ton of success on Match right now. My dance card has been full for the last 3 weeks. Just trying to technically stay single until Christmas is over because you know, I like money lol

Personally I don't spend christmas money on any girl if I wasn't already dating her by Thanksgiving.

I think I am going to have to break down after the holidays and try Match. These other sites just havent worked for me.

Ive had luck with POF and OKcupid in the past, but from my current experience with Match, the selection is a lot better and I haven't run into as many chicks with a ton of baggage or ones that are needing someone to help them financially. Might be because I am a bit more picky when it comes to that, but it does seem the quality is a bit better on Match.

Match also costs money. That helps a lot of things.

I met my wife on Match.com back in 2008 so it is a good site.

So after staying away from any dating sites for about the last month due to my last encounter, I finally went back. I generally stay away from OKCupid because I find the selection on there severely lacks compared to POF (Might just be my area) But I decided to check OKC for the first time in a long time, had a girl message me first (which never happens to me..), and we've been messaging/texting all day yesterday and today, going for lunch on Friday. Fingers crossed this one goes better (but can it really go worse? )

I've been doing the online thing for about 3 weeks. It has resulted in 2 awkward phone conversations, 2 women who lived too far away but if closer we would definitely be dating, and 0 women in my area I'm interested in. Basically, it has made me wish my ex wasn't crazy and I was still with her.

Tried POF, OKC, and Match and they all seem pretty much the same to me, I let me match account expire.

I think I've had the most success recently with coffee meets bagel.

This has probably subconsciously made your phone conversations awkward and also affected your search.....just saying. Give it time, I once was online dating for about 4 weeks until I finally found someone I would actually go out with and one that close to my area.......then after that point, it was raining women

What sucks is to look at a dating site and see your ex on there. Sporting pics I took of her on vacation. Ouch. And of course, she would be the best looking woman I saw. The pickings are mighty slim for my age range, 40 - 48.
