Alright guys, so I officially found a really wonderful girl a month and a half ago on Tinder!

So me and my current girlfriend Sarah matched on Tinder back in early February. We talked on Tinder for about a week before I felt comfortable enough with her to get her number. I got her number, we talked and texted each other for another week before I asked her out on a simple Mini Golf date. We played a round of mini golf which I won by a single stroke even though at the start she was up 4 strokes through 5 holes. She's heavily into sports as am I and I completed the ultimate comeback on the last two holes. I was trying to let her win but she wouldn't let me lol. We then headed over to the arcade area and spent a couple hours together in there. Before we knew it we had spent almost 4 hours on our first date. Since then we've gone on numerous other dates each with great success. I've got a really great feeling about her!

I'm 23 (turning 24 in August) and she's 22 (turning 23 in August). We both share similar interests and views on life. Every time we talk and do things together it seems very natural, nothing is ever forced. She was one of the rare girls on Tinder who weren't there for just a hookup. She was looking for the same thing as me, a legitimate relationship. I'm really excited to see where this goes!

Man this thread pops back up at the best times for me. Nothing terribly exciting happened, other than the girl I made the mistake of hanging around with a couple months ago messaged me on pof over the weekend saying we should have a drink "for old times sake". For those confused, the whole story is about 50 posts back.

Also, I had been seeing this girl I met off of OKCupid for about 3 months and then suddenly this past weekend she just stopped talking to me (hence me being back on POF). It's weird but oh well...

Recent updates..

-Was seeing one girl for about 2 months and that ended

-First 2 girls I meet after go exactly the same. Had an awesome first date, we quickly make plans for a 2nd date. They both cancel with some BS, and then stop responding. And then they both eventually text me saying they are trying to work things out with their ex. Almost thought that these 2 girls were friends playing a joke on me lol.

-Next girl texts me on my way to the bar we were going to that she's grabbing a bite with her friend and if I can join them. At that point I don't really have a choice so I do. It's pretty weird and hard to get anywhere, and plus I liked her friend a lot more than her lol.

-Met a girl 2.5 weeks ago and its going really well. We've already hung out 5 times and are going out again this weekend.

My sister goes through it with men. The same exact situation just happened to her. Great couple dates. Guy even asked her to be his girlfriend. And then ghosted her.

Probably another guy unfortunately. Everytime I've had what i thought was an amazing first date that didn't lead to a 2nd one, either an ex got back in the mix, or i found out one way or another they started dating someone else real soon. So they probably had already met that person and were just seeing what else was out there when we went out.


Last summer i went on what I thought was my best first date ever, just nonstop laughter and clicking from the minute she walked in the door till we said goodbye. Was gonna text her first thing the next morning saying i had fun, but she beat me too it and we bantered all day. Then the next day i asked her out again and she said she thought about it and didn't feel the spark. I was like wtf, so a couple days later i asked her what changed and she said she had another date the day after ours and felt more of a connection. Sucked, but we had added each other on facebook first, and I know a year and a half later they are still together, so i guess she made the right call

Started talking to a girl on Tinder yesterday all because of my really dumb intro or bio or whatever.

My bio says "Not your average Asian girl", and this girl messaged me asking if I was an above average Asian girl or a below average Asian girl.

We talked all day yesterday and we exchanged numbers today.

I lived in Idaho for all of 3 months and went on a dating app out of pure boredom and that small dabble into it was more then enough for me.

I went on a date with one woman who after hanging out one time wanted to know if I was talking to anyone else and lost her **** when I was upfront and told her yes, I mean it was one date so not like we were serious at all.

I went on another date with someone else and we went and had drinks a couple nights. She wanted to go bowling one night so I went with her, no big deal. Next thing I know she vanishes so I figured it was whatever, no big deal. One morning I'm outside my apartment smoking in the morning and I see this woman standing on the opposite street corner of me and just staring at me lmfao. Needless to say I put that smoke out and darted back into the apartment.

The last one we went out for drinks and quickly realized she was a drunk. She fell in the parking lot, yelled at me for not catching her, called her friend who then yelled at me for not catching her. She proceeded to drive drunk speeding down the back streets claiming she knew the streets like the back of her hand and not to worry. Pulled over twice and just sat there in complete silence as I considered making a run for it only to then have her burn out and take off again. I hopped a plane 6 hours later, left Idaho and never went back.

The kicker to the third one was she was a school teacher so I figured she would have her **** together better then the first two, she also had 2 kids of her own and figured that would play into her being mature, I guessed wrong. Once I left she started blowing my **** up, asking me when we were getting married, wanting to setup our honeymoon and telling me what I should/shouldn't wear clothing wise, how to cut my hair and when I should shave. She was more bat **** crazy then the first two. At that point I came to the conculsion that Idaho women are just out there.

Having said all that I've been married now for a little over a year, thankfully she has never stepped foot in Idaho so she hasn't been tainted.

EDIT - Almost forgot, in a weird twist of fate I dated a woman for 11 years who's birthday was 7/28, the teacher I met in Idaho who was bat **** crazy was born on 7/28 and my current wife, if you hadn't guessed by now, was born on 7/28. Seriously, what are the odds of that happening consecutively like that.
