Kinda funny because I just saw a coupon for Morton's for dinner for two for $100 or something. I think it was an appatizer, two entre's, two sides and dessert, which is a pretty good deal as you're probably looking at $130 or so for that meal at full price.

On a first date or second date, I would not. After that as others have said, you can kind of use it an an excuse to ask her out.

As for using coupons now that I am married...We don't actively look for them, but if something catches my eye at a place we eat or want to try, we'll take advantage of it for sure.

Steve should start offering coupons for this site so DC will donate.

".50 cents off your first donation if you present this coupon. Limit one per member."

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

Morton's is usually a special. Ruth Chris has them too. You don't actually cut the coupon and bring it with you.

I've used half off movie tickets in the past on a first date. I've also snuck in outside food and drinks to prevent myself from paying the extortionate prices at the concessions. She was definitely not pleased in having to smuggle a bag of skittles under her blouse. Every step she made she sounded like a set of maracas.

Yeah, now that I think about it, it was just an advertisement, not an actual coupon.

I was with some friends and 2 of the girls smuggled in Olive Garden to go, because we were running late from them messing up food. Big purses can carry in a lot.

After a few dates, why not. You need to know how to save money, no reason to spend more than you have too.

Re: Have/Would You Use Coupons On a Date?

I'm not about wining and dining every woman that I talk to. If I'm just about the booty, our first "date" would probably be picking up some subway on the way to my crib. If I had a coupon I'd use it. why not?

For a chick that I'm thinking about pursuing on a serious level, I couldn't see myself using one on a first date. I'm all about saving money, but I'm not that cheap. If she's on point, being with her is worth saving a few bucks.

Funny thread. On first/early dates, I'd say no also. I've joked about doing it in the past and the girls at work have pretty much all said that's a big NO

Never on the first couple dates, and I always tip more than I would normally on the first couple dates also. On a side note, the extra tipping on the first date has worked amazingly for me on two occasions, because the girl would mention it when I would leave the tip and say something that the waiter messed up on, and I would just cover it by saying that I was so lost in the girl that I didn't even notice anything and that the dinner was perfect for me.

Not on the first date, but if you know someone well enough, it shouldn't really be big deal.

Why would you worry about if the chick cares if you use coupons or not she eating for free basically. I hope yall are talking about wife material girls and not some scally wag chicks you can just feed her ramen noodles and you in the panty drawers.

A first date? Not if i wanted a second date. If i didnt care, then i might.

I would consider using them a few dates in, depending on the girl. When i met my wife, I used them a few dates in (bowling). Told her i had a few free games, did she want to go, she said yea. Dont see any harm after awhile.
