        I guess the most dominating individual player in the NHL might be Alex Ovechkin. Before he came along (pre-lockout) there really wasn't one guy who dominated year in and year out. He seems to be doing that now. If he stays healthy, he seems to be a lock to score at least 50 every season for the foreseeable future.

          I agree, Ovechkin is the most dominant hockey player of the decade even though he only played in half of it.
