Indeed. The 1918 Spanish Flu actually originated as mild strain somewhat similar to this, but died by early summer. Then it came back by winter and ended up killing 50-100 million people.
Of course, I doubt that this virus will do that and I'm not going to worry about it. What will happen will happen. There's a lot more important things that are actually worth being concerned about that are going on in the world right now.Comment

There is reason for some concern as countries in the southern hemisphere begin facing their winters. The strain could mutate during the cold and when the northern folks get their winter, the flu might be stronger than it was this past few weeks.
I doubt anything could wipe out a great number of people so quickly in today's world. Me too. The first day I watched CNN for like 4 hours while going about my business. Did it even reach Pandemic level 6? And also, wait until winter. More people are going to die, and it is definately worth it to take 20 seconds out of your life to wash your hands and cover your coughs.Comment
