BRUTAL. I intended to try the front too, but didn't have the courage after that beatdown. Worse though, is it's just boring. The giant rattlesnake helix thing is just a minute of waiting around.

It is a shame though... such a huge structure, so cool looking how it's built in the park, but it sucks. It's worth a ride though, just for the "this is the roughest coaster I've ever been on" factor.

S:KC is definitely awesome though. Just pure fun. I have ridden quite a few coasters (been to Cedar Point, SFOT, SFFT, etc.) and there is just something about it that makes it way toward the top of my favorites list.
The damn rattler knocked the wind out of me on the first drop, that ride SUCKED.

S:KC was awesome though. I only got to ride it once (we rode Goliath and Polterghiest(sp) a lot.) but it was a blast. That loop is huge! I wish I could go back there, so much better than what we have here...

I went to Great America yesterday. It was terrible. It was a buy one get one free type of deal, I have never, in my life, seen so many people at an amusement park. I wated 2 1/2 hours to go on the Raging Bull, and over half an hour to get on one of those pendulum type rides.

Then, the geniuses that run the park, decided to have a concert like show before closing, right next to the exit! You couldn't move at all, until the concert ended. Was not worth the money at all.

      I love Six Flags.

IMO, though, Raging Bull and Batman (and possibly V2) are all better than Superman. Superman is fun, but it's too short for the amount of time you have to wait in line.
I only had a 20 minute wait for Superman because I got there before it opened and ran when they took off the chain for that section of the park. And I would've gotten on in 5 minutes if I didn't go front row! Although this all sounds untrue (it's not), I also got on Batman within 20 minutes of getting on Superman. The park was pretty empty because of rain, but it worked out for me.

I visited Six Flags Over Texas last Tuesday and had a great time. Second time to visit this year and we really didn't have to wait in lines at all. I rode the Titan for the first time, it was the first ride I rode too. The height going up and the drop were the worst part for me (I'm scared of heights) other than that all the cool G-Force turns at stuff were awesome. I still love the Mr. Freeze that ride is awesome.

I was also there yesterday, and I also can't remember the last time it was that busy. I despise big crowds.

Has anyone rode that "X" coaster down in Texas? The one where the seats spin while the coaster goes? Is it even still there?

There was a Tony Hawk gimmick ride that did that in San Antonio. I think it was called Tony Hawk's Big Ride, or something like that. It was actually pretty fun.

Tony Hawk's Big Spin, and there are several of the same-named rides throughout Six Flags parks, plus a bunch of parks around the world have spinning coasters. A 4th Dimension coaster, which X2 is, is completely different.

Spinning coasters are fairly tame and just spin in a circle while the 4D's are more extreme rides, and rotate based on how close the inner and outer rails are to each other.

Yeah, that's not in Texas. It's at Six Flags Magic Mountain in California. It's actually been named X2 since last year after they repainted it, added some fire/fog effects and got new trains for it. It was the only one of its kind for awhile until a park in Japan opened a ride called Eejanaika, which is pretty much a clone of X2 except for one element near the end of the ride, and it's a bit taller.

Wow, thats a great pic of X2.

Although to be fair, I think you downplayed spinning coasters a little bit with that pic.

They are basically just family rides aimed at people of all ages. I have yet to ride one, so I cant really speak for the ride experience.

I really love it when I'm at home for summer, because it is literally 20 minutes away from Cedar Point. Just wished I lived there for more than like 40 days a year.

I cannot imagine not going there at some point in my life. From The Raptor, to the Mantis, to Top Thrill, Power Tower and everyone's favorite, Millennium Force. If you love coasters, get to the Point.

I've tried a couple times and each time something came up and I couldn't make the trip. I REALLY want to make it there at some point.

I'd love to go back too, I haven't been there since 2003. One other thing that sucks about leaving BG is that it was pretty close to Sandusky...sigh.
