Yeah the engagement party is sunday so I will be back at the gym tomorrow. Not pictured I washed it down with a big glass of goats milk. Been drinking the stuff past two months no real difference from cows as far as I can tell.

FT, lol I doubt my fiancé would go for that, but we could tailgate at FedEx sometime!

Any of you guys know any good vegetarian entrees? Apparently I need to learn to cook at least one since one of my new lady friends is a vegetarian (used to be vegan, ugh lol).

Find past episodes of Top Chef. They always have a vegetarian challenge.

Look up something using a portabella mushroom. Its considered the steak of vegetarianism. Id give a few quick recipes but I'm on tapatalk in the back yard q'n a tri tip and some linguica.

I don't know what makes me more angry they fact I can't get a Tri tip here or the fact I can't Q?
I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

With tax season over, I now have more time to actually think about and prepare dinner. Now the problem is just coming up with things to make. Tonight is Taco Tuesday, so I'm gonna swing by Martin's on the way home for some stuff, but namely its an excuse to make my guacamole again.

This past weekend I made banana pudding, guacamole, and pasta salad for a family get together. Pasta salad was good, but its hard to **** up that. Guacamole was pretty much gone by the time dinner was ready. I loved the banana pudding and it was probably the best I've had (I guess most people just make it same way). Instead of simply putting in nilla wafers I found a recipe that called for a crumbly mixture of wafers, brown sugar, and flour baked for 10-15 minutes. Next time I will probably make more of the mixture, but it was really good. I might also try using almonds next time.

Can't go wrong with Mark Bittman.....love this cookbook. I believe there are smartphone and tablet apps for this as well.

What would be a good lowish calorie sauce/squeeze to put on toast with eggs?

I used to do Smart Squeeze but it looks like it's been taken off the market. Tried to go with Parkay squeeze and I don't like it.

                  Any ideas?

Then I'm out of options...Sriracha is pretty much awesome on everything.

I am making guacamole like crazy, haha. Its too easy not to buy 3 avocados when I go to get groceries and then everything else I already have at the house. Anyway, this past weekend I made a "fajita lasagne" which is basically constructed similarily to regular lasagne. The filler/layers are noodles, sauce (hamburger, diced tomatoes, and fajita seasoning), shredded cheese, and onions and green pepper "stir fry mix". It is delicious. I couldn't find a true stir fry mix, so I just used one of the fajita bags. The recipe calls for a 1lb bag, so I just might try using fresh onions and green peppers, but I would probably have to use more seasoning. Either way, add a scoop of guacamole and sour cream and oh my oh my.
