I was thinking of saying something like "Look, I gotta go, but here's my number---call or text me and maybe we can get together sometime.", but I don't really want to "cede control" to her if she, in fact, IS interested and not just being nice.

In this type of situation, the key is to always act like u in a hurry, so u doing the right thing by sliding her your number so she will give u a call. What acting like you're in a hurry does is three things:

1) You don't waste valuable "macking" time at her place of employment, where she can't be herself.

2) If you learn too much about her at her job, she will already know so much about you before you even had a chance to go out.

3) Acting like you're in a hurry shows that you're busy, which translates in a female's head that you're ambitious. Females don't like when guys have all the time in the world. They look at it as a challenge to try to occupy YOUR time.

So interesting plot twist here...

I did some research on the restaurant, searched it on Google because it's a new place and I wanted to see what other people thought about it, if there was a website, etc.

I came across an article/review. Turns out that this chick and her older sister (22 and 28, respectively) OPENED the damn place on their own just two months ago. Wow.

I don't know what this changes, if anything. I was thinking if I go and there's more flirtation or obvious signs that isnt just pleasantries, I can act in a hurry, slip her my number, and say something like "I gotta go, but call me, maybe we can go out and get your mind off the business for a while."
