I grew up with no less than three cocker-spaniels in the house at all times, when it came time to adopt my own for the first time I was only really looking for another
He was on the verge of being put down. Apparently his time was running out but the people at the shelter really felt he deserved a second chance
Thank goodness I found him. He's the sweetest and smartest dog I've ever known. I love him dearly, he's my main dude.

Cocker Spaniels are awesome.
Rocky had his second round of chemo last week. So far, no nasty side effects. We're still adjusting to him being on three legs, but he's doing well with it. There's a place not far from where I work that does physical therapy, and I'm tempted to take him there even though his vet says he doesn't need it.Last edited by LowerWolf; 06-03-2020, 06:24 PM.Comment

My bud Stanley lost his vision about 3 years ago. He's still 1 of the happiest dogs I know. Whenever I'm having a bad day, he reminds me it isn't that bad..
His son Rusty is a handful. He's gonna be 14, but man is he still a puppy at heart. Loves to run and bark. The neighbors call him the mayor of the neighborhood lol..

His name is Bandit and apparently he's Australian Shepard/Border Collie.
I did want to wait a few years until we found a new place/moved, but I definitely understand not being able to say no to dogs that need a home and my Fiance just couldn't say no..Comment
