There are polite ways to burp and fart. I couldn't be around someone who just let them out as loud as possible. Keep it as quite as possible and say excuse me. I've known some girls who could burp loud and laugh at it, as soon as I heard that, they went to 0, no matter how attractive.

My girlfriend in high school and college never once farted audibly in front of me in 2 years. I never smelled anything either.

In return, though, I didn't fart in front of her either. That was perhaps the hardest thing I've ever done in my life. I fart a lot.

One time I kind of forgot that we weren't farting in front of each other, and I was standing up and just let a big one rip. She was chilling on the floor with a mutual friend (this girl I farted in front of plenty of times), and my face just went red. My step-dad was in the next room and saw the whole thing. "I think that's the first time Geno's farted in front of her!" he said. And he was right.


I wouldn't really have a problem with a girl farting as long as I was able to fart freely as well. It does seem gross, but it's a natural thing.

Passing gas is natural part of life. Is it disgusting as hell? Yes. Can we really prevent gas passing? No. We gotta deal with it. We all let 'em rip from time to time.

It is a taboo subject to me. I think it's gross. I don't do it in front of guys or girls.
