Man the Knicks have by far given me more painful memories than any other of my favorite sports teams.

1993 I was so caught up with crying over Paxson after my brother made fun of me for rooting for the Suns

          95, 97 and 07 Indians.

They all should have been champs. They all choked *well, I guess except for the 95 team, but that team was so damn talented...I consider it a choke job.*

Not the playoffs, but 06 CFB MNC game.

Game 6 of the 2003 NLCS. Cubs v. Marlins.

I think most would claim the infamous Bartman ball was the turning point in the game, but Alex Gonzalez could've ended the inning, instead bobbling a double-play ball for an error. Game 7 didn't matter. Once the Marlins took the lead in Game 6 the series was over.

Another ironic and painful aspect, Alex Gonzalez was the Cubs' most clutch player throughout the season, and was a fantastic infielder.

This year will be their 18th straight losing season. I keep saying that I'm going to go 20 then I'm out!

Hang in there. Hopefully things turn around for you guys one day. At least you've got the Steelers and Penguins, right?

Back on topic...I remember being a Duke basketball junkie when I was about 10 or 11 and I loved Bobby Hurley. I was really upset when they lost to California in the 2nd round of the 1993 NCAA Tournament (pretty big upset...Cal was an 8 or 9 seed IIRC), derailing their shot at a 3-peat. Hurley played his heart out, had 32 points and hit a bunch of threes, but he couldn't quite get them over the top in that one. Think it was Jason Kidd's coming-out party also. He was great for Cal that year.

Jason Kidd was NBA ready out of HS, albeit I haven't seen the game in a while but his performance at the McDonald's AA game was the best I have ever seen. I remember that game too for the most part, didn't they also have Lamont Murray, that was a good Cal team.
