Re: Playoff moments that hurt so bad, you wanted to cry?

2001,02 and 09 NFC Championship games.

In 2001, ND Kalu was so close to blocking a punt in the Rams endzone in the last 3 minutes or so down 5. I still have no idea how it wasn't blocked.

In 2002, the last year of the Vet and the Eagles come out firing and then down in the 4th quarter; the Ronde Barber interception for touchdown was just one big punch to the stomach.

In 2009, being down 18 at halftime to the Cardinals and then making the great comeback. Having the Cardinals at a 4th down at midfield and not stopping them was just brutal. I didn't talk to anyone for 2 hours.

The 2004 Super Bowl was brutal because a Philly team hadn't won a title in my lifetime til then plus the whole T.O. aftermath made it worse.

2004 Elite 8, St.Joe's vs Oklahoma State. The loose ball bouncing right to John Lucas III for an open three and then Jameer Nelson misses at the buzzer.

If I was older than 3 and half when the 1993 World Series happen, it definitely would have hurt.

If we believe every game is a playoff in CFB for me it would be the 2003 loss to Clemson that kept FSU out of the BCS MNCG (SOS would have had FSU and LSU in the game). Had FSU won that game and Bowden even made the BCS MNCG that year he would have likely retired.

WOW! I actually remember watching that game and simply could not believe a vet would miss a chip shot XP like that.

I remember being over my friend's house when that happen. It was me, him and his dad and Fox flipped to that game. We went nuts when we saw that and then the extra point happen. Lets just say we were all shocked. I think the Saints were 7-7 or 6-8 going into that game with a mathematical possibility of still making the playoffs.

Heh, I remember the River City Relay. I was super pleased that he missed that kick.

I think the quick, cutting domination of the Patriots beating the Jaguars in 2007 after the Jaguars beat the Steelers with a field goal, wasn't maybe the most heartbreaking, but minute after minute when the Jaguars couldn't even breathe on Brady because his line said no and he got the ball out in microseconds... that was painful to watch.

Bills wide right. I was in buffalo and I was a kid, but seeing the coaches face made me want to cry. They deserved it so bad, I feel so bad for all of Buffalo.
