I think an asteroid hitting the planet will end human life. As for the world ending, that will happen when the sun burns out.

Large Hadron Collider creates a black hole. As long as that thing keeps breaking we'll be fine.

That thing scares the crap out of me. I mean I know every scientist involved in the project says nothing will happen but you know when there's a huge mass of people that believe something unproven up to that point in time well....

Over population will create epidemics and plagues some of which could be cured on time, but not all of them. Sadly the best thing for this world is a non-nuclear war that would kill millions. Which brings me to my next point...Nuclear war is probably going to kill us.

Another is the Myan theory. If you actually take the time to read how the world will allign on December 21st 2012 it actually makes a lot of sense. Though the allignment is not proven to have any effect...It's something that has not happened to the earth in centuries. So nobody can really say what will really happen.

Either way this world will be vanished within the next 100-200 years if the Mayan theory is proven to be false.

I actually just saw a thing on the History Channel about that happening and it already did in the early 1900's in Siberia. One of the most perfect places too, right? Considering it's pretty desolate up there. It created a lot of oddities and was extremely powerful, but it wasn't even close to ending the Earth. So it made me feel better about that kind of thing happening.

I really don't know what will happen and I'm not too worried. If it happens, it'll probably be over quickly. So I'll just be in bed... might as well go comfortably, yes?

If I remember that event correctly... that was a comet, not an asteroid. There's a relatively big difference between the two.
