By the time that Happens, Humans will already all be dead or will have become a space faring nation. If Humans can manage to survive long enough to the point we explore Space, we will never all die. personally I think We pollute the planet to the point where it becomes inhospitable, not to mention we will probably run all out of Natural resources.

I agree with all that actually. We're bound to run out of resources eventually, and I absolutely believe we'll be traversing into space by then. Too bad none of us will see any of this happen, lol.

The world could simply be turned off. The entire universe could be a complex computer simulation (ala The Matrix or The Thirteenth Floor) and the creator of the computer program could choose to abort the simulation.

Do I believe that? No. But, hey, anything's possible!

Well I don't believe it will end, at least anytime soon. Contrary to what Pat Roberson thinks *idiot. But my guess is and fear; some idiotic little country or terrorist organization will get a hold of a nuclear bomb and use it, and all hell will break loose. I hope I never see it happen, But one of these days it's probably going to happen. And this world is a powder keg waiting to explode. Without getting into politics, this should be the whole world's strongest goal behind a strong world economy. We just can't let something that dangerous get into the hands of some crazy radicals.

Unless it was a major state providing the weapon (Russia, Israel, China) which is almost certain not to happen, a nuclear bomb wouldn't "end" the world. It would be a fairly weak weapon, and would be far closer to a repeat of 9/11 and Afghanistan than a videogame war.
