Public.......We had 40 kids per a class in elementary school and 55 per a class in high school. Kind of funny my high school was oirginally built to hold 800 kids, but we had 1700 kids up in there. What was even more funny, like most high schools in Chicago during the 70s and 80s were all white.

My freshmen year it was still majprity white, but a month into my freshman year, my principal became the dean of stanford and left. And when he left, by christmas break of that same year, all the white kids transferred out.

So my high school went from top flight in the city to the gutter in one semester. Because when the principal and white kids, left, all our sponsors left too. We use to have Microsoft, Cocoa Cola, JpMorgan, and the Tribune as our sponsors. By the time I graduated my school was 90% black 10% hispanic. That is a far cry from when I started when it was 97% white, 2% black and 1% hispanic.

Shame really, because that whole neighborhood went to the crapper, when it was once a very beautiful jewish neighborhood. But it turned into a low income hsipanic and black neighborhood within 2 years.


Was it just me or did girls you know or came across who went to private school turn out to be some of the biggest freaks in the world ?

Since I'm an American, I went to public school all the way.

However, there's a very good chance that I go to private school for grad school.

Unfortunately, a private all-Armenian High School.

Only because it's really, really stupid for someone to go to a public high school in the Los Angeles area.

Private high school that was pretty much a 2 story office building with cubicle walls dividing the rooms. We didnt have set class times except for media 1st thing in the morning and Spanish at 12:30 and the rest we could do on our own time whenever we wanted and then we could leave. My school had like 90 kids at a time and all 3 years i was there we had 1 black kid, named James. That was it, he was awesome. My school also went through teachers like nothing. We didnt have teachers per grade they all taught everyone in the school and in my 3 years the school went through 25 teachers for various subjects. Going to Academy High School in Boca Raton, FL (incase anyone else here went there) was unlike anything i could of ever imagined high school being like. It was ridiculous.

Absolutely ridiculous.

I'm a Senior this year. Yes, I know I'm a youngin.

Private Elementary, Public everything else.

Elementary in KY, Everything Else in Northwest Georgia.

Public, graduated in '08 and loved every minute of it...except for Freshman year.

I am still in public high school. lol I am now a senior finally.
