When I initially read that, I thought it was class of 1965. My class was also pretty small with 96 people. I was around #25.Steelers : IX, X, XIII, XIV, XL, XLIII

I went to a private catholic elementary school, public middle school, public high school(even though my first high school was just as rich, if not richer, than a lot of private schools).Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Yeah 65 was big for my school. Only had about 320 in all 4 grades. With the budget cuts last year, the district was considering closing it down and consolidating with another county high school. Luckily, they decided against trying to merge us with our rivals (and i didn't have to look for a new teaching job).Comment

Private from Kindergarten-9th Grade. Public from 10th-12th Grade.
EDIT: N.C. State or UNC-Asheville for college, so that will be public, as well.Last edited by superjames1992; 12-16-2009, 01:15 AM.Comment

320 / 4 = 80
... which means the average class size would be 80, yet 65 is big?Originally posted by DaImmaculateONeHow many brothers does Sub-zero running around in his clothing? No one can seem to kill the right one.Comment

Re: Did you go to a public high school or a private high school?
I think the classes get smaller with every year.
We had 120 or so freshman in my school. By my senior year, we had 88 students (100% graduation rate*). So, I'm thinking he means big for a senior class.
*Funny how this works in private schools. My high school has had a 100% graduation rate every year this decade (starting with 2000 when I graduated) with the exception of one year of 99% (not sure the year).
But, they found their way of making it happen. While it is indeed a good school, it found ways of expelling students that weren't going to graduate. Granted, those students put themselves in position to be expelled, but my school wasn't going to make an effort to bring them back, you know. There was no such thing as suspension. I have enough stories of guys getting expelled for one small mishap. If you think things are hard here at OS, go to my high school."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

I went to a private school from kindergarten to eight grade and to a public high school where I was the loner who did his homework during lunch.

Re: Did you go to a public high school or a private high school?
I went to a pretty good public school until high school. I'm really glad that I switched to a private school because I don't know if I'd be able to stand public high school.
I go to a pretty tough school (as tough as it gets in Oklahoma), but we have a modular schedule where I only have class about half of the time I'm at school, and the rest of it is just free time.
For sports we aren't in the state system we play in the southwest preparatory conference which pretty much consists of the best private schools in Dallas and Houston, and a school in Oklahoma City. We get to travel quite a bit, and don't have to go play in **** towns for football which is pretty cool. We're pretty competitive at sports, when we play our non-conference games against teams in our area we play at the level of the top 3a and 4a teams.WUSTLComment
