Re: Where do you draw the line when it comes to flirting and having an affair?
True story....
My Wife found a text that her best friend sent me about the three of us getting "together"
What my Wife didn't know is that her best friend also said that if my Wife wasn't interested, she would still be ok with just her and I. I never told my Wife about that, because I knew it would hurt her( they have been friends since 4th grade ).
I never excepted another text from that person again, because it had gone way over the line, when she decided it would still be ok...even without my Wife.
The only way I was able to save myself, is that her friend told my Wife that I was being truthful, and didn't lie. Her friend also that admitted that as soon as she brought up the point about not having my Wife involved, I never responded.
So, I never really did anything wrong here....other than not tell my Wife about her "proposal", but that was only to save my Wifes feelings. If her frined would not have admitted what she did, and that I was being honest...It would have been me up **** creek.
I have never cheated on my Wife, never flirt past the line...and never will. I can't imagine hurting my Wife so badly, just so I can have a little fun on the side.Last edited by bluengold34_OS; 12-16-2009, 05:20 PM.Twitch - bluengold34_osComment

Re: Where do you draw the line when it comes to flirting and having an affair?
It was either in a book, or a story at church, but a pastor was doing some marriage counseling with a couple who had been married 15 or 20 years. The husband cheated, and one pastor said to another person at the church, "No sex is worth what this man's family is about to go through."Comment

Re: Where do you draw the line when it comes to flirting and having an affair?
No, but it drastically lowers the intimacy level , and really bugs women (I feel) more than they let on. This is in general terms. My ex girlfriend's parents got divorced because of his porn addiction. He never "cheated" but the result is the same. She had such a moral objection to it, that she could never let her guard down to "be with him" , and then it drove him deeper into his pics 'n' vids,
...thus the addiction cycle commenced, and the marriage ceased after 25 yearsComment

If your wife trips about porn and you are sneaky about watching porn then I would say yes it is wrong. If she is cool well that is another story. My personal opinion is it is wrong even if she is cool with it, but if I explain my opinion why I would break the TOS.Comment
