I know I said earlier I stay away from vodka at all costs, but aside from Vodka Red Bulls, the only other way I can have vodka is with pineapple juice. One of my friends was making it on vacation last summer and I had a cup and it was great! You can put a ton of vodka in and the pineapple juice acts as a great mixer and completely kills the taste of the vodka. Great for making a strong pre-game drink or two.Go Yankees

I recently invented this in Vegas as a "pre game pick me up":

Large Sugar Free Vanilla or Hazelnut flavored Iced Coffee with cream (Dunkin or McD)

I scoop vanilla protein powder (I went with Myoplex from the local Walgreen's)

I airplane sized kalua (or Bailey's)

Before I quit drinking hard liquor it was always spiced rum (usually Captin Morgan) and Dr. Pepper. Now I have just the occasional beer now and then and usually go with Red Stipe or Corona. My Teams

Not a big fan of the Red stag. I also don't really like Jim Beam though. Add to the fact it is a flavored bourbon and it turns me off. Tend to dig my Whiskeys woody on the rocks or just a splash of coke.

With that said, I would be interested trying it with Ginger Ale like that and the infused cherry, sounds pretty tasty.Comment

Same here man. I basically bought it thinking it would be a great drink for mixing, and that it is. Stag and Coke tastes just like Cherry Coke, and is fantastic with Ginger Ale. I've read some people are making Manhattan's with Stag, but I can't really see it. Need to grab some vermouth to give it a shot though. Not a big fan of the Red stag. I'm just worried that it will start a trend of flavored whiskeys, much like vodka. Stag is acceptable, as the black cherry actually blends very well with the regular Beam formula, as it is only a background flavor. Something new though, and I like it.Comment

I sure hope it does not start that trend. I can easily see it happening, but you would not see me buying it. I grew up drinking whiskey on the rocks and I guess it is a developed taste. But I can't see sipping on a glass of orange crush Whiskey UHHHHHHHH that would suckSame here man. I basically bought it thinking it would be a great drink for mixing, and that it is. Agreed... keep the fruity crap out of whiskey. Especially since most of those are just crappy flavorings as opposed to really instilled flavors with natural ingredients (like many bars have been doing with the vodka/rum infusion jars).Send your Midnight Release weirdo pics/videos to my new website: http://www.peopleofmidnightreleases.com!Comment
