I'm sure it might stay more flavorful if you have a bottle for a month and keep it in there, but it's not like it's required and will go bad and kill you like most people believe.
Has anyone said it will kill you or go bad in this thread? People are just saying it tastes better and keeps the flavor if you put it in the fridge thats why they recommend it. It's like eating expired chips or something. It won't kill you but it is best to eat it before the expiration date just like it is best to put your ketchup in the fridge to preserve freshness longer.

That's weird. The Heinz ketchup bottle I have is literally IDENTICAL to the one in that picture and mine has the refrigerate label. Odd.

I wonder if there's a difference (in freshness and taste) in the glass bottle vs. the plastic bottle.

Who knows, but regardless of what any "experts" might say, there're bound to be people who say the opposite. There always are.

Fridge. Never really thought about why, I just put it there once the bottle is open.

LMAO!!! Ready to admit it says it? Well wait your right.... it doesnt say "you must refrigerate after opening" but (as that same picture shows) it does say "for best results, refrigerate after opening."

And no one in this thread acted like it was unhealthy to eat if it wasnt in the fridge. Have no idea where you got that from.

I only use organic ketchup so it has to be refrigerated.

                  Me too!

Plus I use it when I have Fish & Chips as opposed to tarter sauce (I hate it!). My wife thinks I'm crazy and that I have ruined the fish.

I didn't even know this was a question. How and why would you NOT put ketchup in the fridge? Hell, I don't even like it, but it belongs in the fridge.

this is funny because I just bought Ketchup today and while I was putting it in the fridge, I thought, why does ketchup go in the fridge? It's on the tables at restaurants.

guys, i was thinking about starting a poll but not sure. I keep my tuna salad in the trunk of my car because nowhere on the can does it say i need to keep it cool.

whatcha think, anyone want to try it? It's been in there for about a month.

Why would you want to a put a cold substance onto a nice hot warm hot dog or hamburger? The cold over powers the rest of the flavor.

I posted pictures of two different brands and no where does it even mention putting it in the fridge.

i think the real question is why in the world are you so serious about ketchup?

okay, great. Most of the free born world puts their ketchup in the fridge. You don't. Just make sure to let people know you don't do it before you serve them a burger, lol.
