We have proof that bottles do in fact say it. Means your statement is false. No one said ALL bottles must have it. Hell I havent even said if I put mine in the fridge but the point is you said "Even thought NO WHERE on a bottle of Heinz or Hunts ketchup does it say to refrigerate after opening" and there is proof in this thread they say it(again no where did I say all bottles must have it).

Why wont you just admit you were wrong about your first statement? Even if YOUR bottle doesnt say it, plenty of others do.

My fiance thinks I am stupid, but just like you, I don't want cold ketchup on my fries. Room temperature for me. Plus I'll even go so far as to only eat McDonald's ketchup with McDonald's fries, Arby's ketchup w/Arby's fries and so on. Anyone else this particular?
I do the same, however, I don't like ketchup, so I do same with barbecue sauce. I can eat that with anything.

        Re: Ketchup

My family kept it in the pantry growing up. Then in college one of my roommates put it in the fridge and I was like WTF...but dealt with it. Then started liking it. I like cold/hot mixtures so I keep it there now.

            Re: Ketchup

Ketchup tastes the same to me really whether its cold or not. I refrigerate mine because even though some may not say to on the label, usually refrigeration helps keep any food product to last longer. It's just common sense.

              Just a bit off topic.

A few months ago my local grocery store did some renovations and moved products to different aisles to freshen things up. One thing that caught my eye that was quite odd was the fact that they all of a sudden put the Cheez Whiz in the cold alongside the milk, cheese and eggs, etc.

I know once you open a jar you put it in the fridge but not before you open it. Just found it very odd.

I agree with Ollie... I hate cold ketchup... If ketchup is "SUPPOSED" to be in the fridge why is it on the tables "WARM" at all restaurants?

Reason i brought this up though. We were all out eating hibachi grill and not sure if you guys have experienced this. The Hibachi chefs sometimes take empty Ketchup bottles and put a string inside tied to the nipple and during their "act" of cooking they will grab this bottle and act like the are shooting Ketchup at you. So when the squeeze the bottle the string shots out and for a half second you think you about to get it on you.

Well they did this to all people her. She literally went ballistic, crying, hyper ventilating, damn near passed out, and then left the restaurant.

Nothing really to do with the topic. I just find it very strange that she works with blood and stuff but ketchup is like the worst thing in life. The mind is a strange thing. She is a classy girl to.

Dookie, Sriracha is a Thai hot sauce made from dried chili peppers and is pretty much the greatest condiment of all time.

As for the topic, the ketchup goes in the fridge. You can always put it on the table for a few minutes and let it warm to room temperature before digging in with your tots and what have you.
