Re: Ketchup
This stuff is really good. In one of the restaurants I worked at, we would combine this with mayonnaise and call it Chili Aioli and serve it with the calamari. But people asked for it on EVERYTHING! Couldn't make enough of that stuff....
Back on topic....
Ketchup is in the fridge. As far as the "warm meal/cold ketchup" argument goes, I personally enjoy the contrast.
BTW, I love that people are actually angry about where somebody whom they've never met in their life keeps their ketchup. Awesome.Comment

Re: Ketchup
Ketchup in the fridge...Definitely.
I've always wondered how people handled chocolate and pancake syrup personally.
My mom always kept it in the fridge. But, my girlfriend has both in the pantry. I always thought that was weird.
I just don't like how runny they both are when unrefrigerated. They both are thicker when they are refrigerated and to me, that's a lot better. Especially in regards to chocolate syrup for ice cream.
How you fellas feel about chocolate and pancake syrup? Just curious. lolComment

Re: Ketchup
It's a hot chili sauce that you can find at most grocery stores including Walmart. It will add a tasty chili/garlic heat to anything you add it too. The bottle suggests that you add it to pizza, pasta, soup, hot dogs, etc. and it's so good that it would probably make those things taste even better.
I'll cook a tablespoon of this stuff in with a pack of Maruchan beef ramen and a poached egg. Lunch for 20 cents doesn't get any better.
Just to add to the topic, I keep my catsup in the fridge since that's the norm in my house. I've always hated the cold overpowering the hot fries and I've gone as far as heating the catsup up in the microwave before using it.Last edited by andayaman; 02-23-2010, 11:29 AM.Comment

Re: Ketchup
Yeah, we didn't keep much chocolate syrup around the house growing up. I did have a chocolate milk & strawberry milk phase at one point though.Comment

My grandma always had that big, brown can with Hersheys written on it. That was our syrup. I could drink that stuff straight! To heck with the ice cream, LOL.Streaming PC & PS5 games, join me most nights after 6:00pm ET on TwitchTV https://www.twitch.tv/shaunh20

Re: Ketchup
It doesn't really matter to me and I put it on food either way, but the ketchup has always been refrigerated at my house. Same with both chocolate and pancake syrup.Comment
