I'm planning on starting this in about month when I get back from vacation. I've enjoyed what I've done and seen from the 20 minute Fast and Furious dvd so I'm looking forward to taking that next step.

I'm curious, though, about what results to expect realistically the first 60 days?

I've always been a big fan of hard exercises (was in the army for 3 years) But I've started to get out of shape a tad. Mainly because of diet, I still hit gym alot but I wanna really get rid of this beer belly as I'm pursuing become a police officer now and will be taking an exam in April. I really only lift so this will be a fresh start for my body.

I'm ready to see what these 60 days are like just waiting for my Insanity to come in the mail. Right now I'm 6 feet 220 which isn't good I've been in much better shape although my upper body strength has always been good. 19.62% Body Fat, Waist to Hip Ratio of 0.94 Ready to change those numbers.

And a question for anyone who used this, did you still hit gym for upper body while doing this? I still want to be able to bench/curl etc what I normally do in gym after I'm done with this so how does it fair in that regard. Or does the fact I already have enough Bulk will work out fine for me?

I made it halfway through the first workout then my legs just couldn't squat anymore. I haven't done a lick of cardio in years so I'm not sure if I should be sad or happy I even made it that far.

Keep it up man. I was in relatively decent shape when I started Insanity last year. Or I thought I was. Halfway through the day 1 test, I was in the bathroom throwing up. Day 2 was the same. After that, I was fine every day. Give yourself a week or so and you'll be fine.

Especially considering Insanity is basically one of the hardest cardio workouts you can find and you haven't done cardio in years. It's going to take you time for your body to adjust.

Read that again, then go back and measure your expectations.

You should be damn proud.

It all depends on where you are starting physically. I can tell you one thing for sure though, if and the key word is if, but if you stick with it and the diet (most important part) you will see dramatic results.

You are going to be sore and you will have days that you do not want to continue, but you must push yourself beyond what you thought were your limits.

Don't worry about not being able to keep up with the video, just make sure that whatever you can do that you give it 110%. You can rest when you are done.

I've also checked on Insanity's nutrition guide and have implemented the 5 meal system and have started eating a lot more vegetables/fruits and cut out a lot of dairy and carbs so I've already seen some improvement just from that.

Essentially I want to tone my abdomen as I'm fairly content with the toning of my upper and lower body and I feel like this will get it done.

Anyway, I just ordered the program and hopefully it will be here by the end of next week.

Thats good to hear. Drink plenty of water. I drink over a gallon a day. Keep at it and you will get the body that you want.

Week 2 is down. I think I need to up my calorie intake because the past couple days I've not been as energetic during the workouts as earlier in the week or even last week. Still pushing myself and not skipping any sections.

Today was the first day with Pure Cardio Abs. How did/do you guys usually do that? Do you do it immediately after Pure Cardio or do split them up during the day?
