    Re: Manual or Automatic.

Was thinking of a Subura Liberty for my next car. I need some a bit larger for the family but still want to ride in style.

I imagine the hardcore gearhead's wouldn't look to favourably on an auto WRX but who cares you are the one who has to drive it.

Wow none of my relatives drive a manual............neither of my friends or coworkers either. I only knew of one person who had a manual and that was this girl in college I use to mess with.

Other then that, everybody I ever known drove automatcs

            Pretty sweet dude!

I've got a '99 Civic si. with a "home made" short throw.. lol.

I couldn't afford the entire swap when I was in high school, so I took a hack-saw and cut it off and replaced the shift knob with an aftermarket. It's still pretty sweet

even though i don't have a liscence i got a permit. few months back my uncle allowed me to drive his corvette which was manual (can you say mid-life lol) and i gotta honestly say shifting gears was one of the most exiting experiences of my life loved the whole engine rev

I'm a A-to-B guy, so I don't care about the technical stuff, I just want the car to run well and get me to my destination. Hence, automatic is the one for me.

                  Re: Manual or Automatic.

Manual for me. I've been driving a manual transmission car for the past 10 years and I love it. Whenever I drive someone else's car that is automatic it is kinda boring.

Sure, living in Miami, weekday rush-hour can be a pain, but overall the feel and control you have over the car is worth it.
