Re: Weight Loss - Tips & Daily Check-in
That's pretty darned good. Keep up the good work. Remember though if you are going to work out at all you'll need to eat some carbs & protein. If you fast you shouldn't work out, or if you do it needs to be a very leisurely walk type thing. That's what my doctor told me.Streaming PC & PS5 games, join me most nights after 6:00pm ET on TwitchTV https://www.twitch.tv/shaunh20

Re: Weight Loss - Tips & Daily Check-in
Alight time for me to join this "weight loss" group. I have been very, very inconsistent with my "diet" and I've gone 3-5 days good, 2-3 bad. Rinse & repeat. It's no good.
I'm going to supplement my diet with the ECA stack (25mg E, 200 mg C, 81 mg A)
Well today I started...I had a bad meal last night so I'm simply skipping one meal. Well that ECA stack is no f'n joke. I did an AWESOME back lift with abs in between sets...and I mean 100% awesome lift.
I feel awesome right now...it's f'n crazy man. I'm going to take the ECA 2x/day untial May 1st, then take a week off. Then I'll do 4 weeks on/1 week off until I reach my desired goal.
Gonna do my low carb diet and take it easy on cardio due to the ECA stack.
Starting stats: 6'3, 220 lbs, ~14% bf (some ab visibility when I flex)
Goal: 202 lbs, <10% bf and ready for my Costa Rica trip (7/2)Comment

Why not do cardio with them? Will I have a heart attack?Comment

Re: Weight Loss - Tips & Daily Check-in
It's purpose is to increase metabolism and suppress apetite.
It's about $25 when you add up the ingredients.
Just google ECA stack and you'll get a ton of info.
It can be dangerous if you do not use the proper dosage. Basically the people who gave it a bad rep were the ones who took a huge amount of ephedrine and wore garbage bags while running.
Do your research with WHATEVER supplement you choose to use.Comment

Re: Weight Loss - Tips & Daily Check-in
30 minutes on the recumbent bike = 155 calories burned. A bit upset on the number, but it's a good sweat (and the gym has mini tvs so I watched the Simpsons).
I'll do the elliptical tomorrow. ODogg, I might try your omelet recipe tonight for dinner... although I might go ahead and change up some ingredients. I'll let you guys know how that goes.Last edited by The GIGGAS; 03-31-2010, 06:08 PM.Rose City 'Til I Die

Re: Weight Loss - Tips & Daily Check-in
Had my weigh in this morning and was at exactly 95kg's (209.4lbs) at 5'11. I'm down from 106kg's (233lbs) at my heaviest and my long term goal is a lean 82kgs (180lbs).
Breakfast was:
Two boiled eggs on a piece of multi grain bread with no butter.
Lunch is:
A multi grain sandwich with chicken breast, tomato, lettuce, 1 slice of low fat cheese and some dijonaisse dressing. The dijonaisse is a mixture of low fat mayo and dijon mustard that has very little cals (like 20 cals per serve) and tastes great. Will also have a diet coke with lunch.
Dinner tonight will be some left over home made fried rice (we make it healthy so nothing is actually fried) with lots of vegetables and some more chicken breast on the side to get some protein in. I have to work 12 hours today and when i get home i want to spend some quality time with my 18 month old daughter so i don't know if i'll get cardio in today but i might hit the treadmill after she goes asleep.Comment

Re: Weight Loss - Tips & Daily Check-in
Good job Jonesy! One cool thing about this thread is that we can all get good food ideas from each other. I hadn't really thought about that but it's cool!!
Here is dinner for me:
DINNER
One lowcal whole wheat wrap (80)
deli turkey (60)
lowfat cheese (60)
shredded onions, tomatoes, lettuce (30)
mustard (20)
1 large green apple (60)
1 large mango (100)
TOTAL CALORIES: 410 Calories
Snack: 5 medium hard pretzels (50)
750 (breakfast, snack, lunch) + 410 + 50 = 1,210 CALORIES
Walked the dog for nearly an hour, albeit at a leisurely pace....so I imagine I got 40-50 calories out of that.
It turned out to be a really good day for exercise and eating for me.Last edited by ODogg; 03-31-2010, 07:54 PM.Streaming PC & PS5 games, join me most nights after 6:00pm ET on TwitchTV https://www.twitch.tv/shaunh20

Oh and one idea for the eggs..you may want to get those little individual things of egg whites as they can store for a long time unlike the cartons of egg whites...and do 2 regular eggs and 2 things of egg whites. That'll cut out on a lot of fat and I guarantee that you won't taste any difference.Streaming PC & PS5 games, join me most nights after 6:00pm ET on TwitchTV https://www.twitch.tv/shaunh20

Re: Weight Loss - Tips & Daily Check-in
I thought that they banned ephedrine here as well. I think the newly formulated Hydroxycut doesn't have ephedrine either because of that new regulation. I'm not positive but I think so.Comment
