    Re: Freaking females

I was honestly waiting for THM to post. I can now retire from this thread.

I really might as well close the thing. There's nothing left to learn.

Random text just to say hello? That's games. She just wants to see if you'll answer back as soon as possible. Think about what guys do when they are trying to keep a booty call close. They hit up the girl every now and then just to remind her he's still around. That's what she's doing here. She wants you to keep her in mind so you'll jump out of your shoes for her when she's ready.

The point is: if she wanted to do something she would have left a message saying so or mentioned it in the text. She's not making an effort to be around you, so don't make the effort to be around her. Even if you give up and go hard after her, I promise you you'll end up regretting it because the relationship will always be like that. You, making an effort. Her, sitting back. That's not a relationship.

          Re: Freaking females

I keep thinking about this thread because I feel like I'm in the premature stages of a similar situation with a girl I just met. But, I'm not falling for the games because I've been through them too many times when I was younger, so I'm jumping out before it even gets there...unless, she is truly interested and makes the effort.

It's simple, really. I met her, talked to her, asked her out on a Friday night. She asked me to walk her to the train from work (met her at her job). Talked to me for 30 minutes outside of the train, I got her number and then she told me to call her that night. I called her, she gave me the "I'm busy. I'm out right now." Ok, cool. I give girls two tries. So I text her on Thursday, she responds back that she'll let me know because of plans she told me about before I had even asked her out. I already know where this is headed, but I respond back and say: Ok, just let me know and if not Friday night, we'll move it to Saturday. She replies back: I'll let you know.

Never did. So, I move on. I'm not gonna start chasing her around. What, should I text her or call her back and ask her why she didn't contact me back? I'm not a fool. If she didn't get back to me with at least a sorry, lets do something Saturday/next weekend, then she never cared.

On to the next one...and on to the next one I did that very same Friday night.

            Re: Freaking females

I'm of the belief that girls know right away if they are truly interested in you or not. So if those immediate sparks aren't there she'll string you along until you get the hint that it ain't happening. Some are just too nice to come out and say I'm not interested.

Likewise, if she is feeling you she'll overlook some small things. Not calling, being late, being a jerk, saying something inappropriate (within reason).

I started talking to this girl about a month ago. I went on a blind date with her because of my friends girl friend. She got me the date with her. The girl and I went bowling and had a pretty good time. After the bowling alley we went to Panera Bread and got some food and talked for a good hour and a half or so. I thought we had a really good time.

From that day forth we've text each other every day, usually about nothing, we'll ask each other how the day went etc and what we were planning to do during the week. The following week after our date, we hung our in her dorm room with my buddy and his girl and watched some flicks. Again we had a good time or at least i presume we both had a good time.

Now here comes where it gets aggravating. That was the last time we have actually seen each other and hung out albeit we weren't alone and that was about a month ago.

From that date, all we've done is stupid text. Every time she calls me or i call her, she ends our conversation mid way because shes doing something with her room mates. I don't think we've ever had a conversation on the phone over 4 mins. And again the texting we do is pretty pointless.

Because of my some what busy schedule i purposely took 3 days off of work during spring break last week so we could hang out just the two of us. Yet every time i asked her to go out or do anything, she was in the middle of something. I tried to get hang out with her, but i don't want to push too hard because then it seems strange. The one day she asked me to do something, i already has plans with family.

What sort of irks me is the fact that she told my good friend about how much she likes me and shes glad we're talking etc. Then last week she text me while i was at work, saying something like she wants to see me etc. I asked her out to Ihop that Saturday which happens to just be a couple days ago; she told me she would get back to me, and never did. Saturday came and i didn't bring it up because i didn't want to seem pushy.

After that day, when ever she texts me, i respond in a different manner, no longer send her silly text etc. She text me saying she sorry we couldn't hang out spring break, and i said something like "yea life comes fast, just take it in stride." She talked about seeing me at school on Monday but i didn't respond to it and left school Monday without seeing her.

Today, Wednesday is my longest day at school, having class at 11am -10:05pm with a pretty good break in between. I used that break to hang out with her, even skipped my 5pm class two weeks ago to hang out with her. Today, i completely ignored her even though my 7pm class got cancelled. She asked me what i was going to do, and i said go home.

Yea it was a long rant, but i feel much better. It sort of angers me because i do like her, and from what i could tell she liked me too, but when ever i want to hang out with her, i'm left by myself.

Should i continue to give it a try or move on???
So this is what I did a few years back when I was still a single guy... I had been talking to a girl I met at some club... same type of deal as you, we would text here and there, a few phone conversations and saw each other a few times briefly.. there was just something in the vibe telling me she was sort of uninterested but sort of interested just not interested enough to get down to business...

Well one day we're texting back and forth and the subject of hooking up comes up, sort of in a joking manner. She said something that I purposely misinterpreted as her wanting to get with me and I text her, "look I'm not going to have sex with you". She replied with something about me misunderstanding and here's the golden line: I say "I'm into more petite chicks" mind you this girl was not fat at all but almost any girl always thinks she's a little thicker then she should be.

Well the next time we see each other, a group of my friends met up with a group of her friends at some club, this girl was all over me. The absolute best part was that after a night of jamming her tongue down my throat, she says she knows I like more petite girls but she"ll have to do.

It never went past being a booty call which was perfect for what I was looking for at the time.

                Re: Freaking females

IMO you can't give women a chance to break your confidence or control of situation EVER

I never understand how some men react to women...Why is a man ever waiting for a women to text, call, or make plans...To me these are all no-nos. I don't ever see why a guy txt a women with anything that expects a response...because you lose control of the situation, which in turn makes you lose confidence. Texting something like "Hey/Wassup?/What are you doing?" is just so wrong because the moment you don't get a response your confidence goes down, wondering why you didn't get a response. Instead why not just text "No need to respond but I was just thinking about you"

Right there your no longer expecting a response, you just told her not to so you lose no confidence, no lost of control and even better if she responds NOOOOW you have the green light to converse (ofcourse making sure you break it off before you do start getting ignored and end up back at square one) but I think most male issues come from a lose of confidence or control, Yea she was interested but you gave up to much control of what was happening...you should be the one saying "I'll let YOU know", "I'll see where I can fit YOU in"...instead to many guys end up accepting the "I'll wait" or the "Just let me know" role...You no longer control what happens, Then when she doesn't respond (Whether she had reason or not) you start thinking she wasn't interested

You can't give women to much attention and you have to maintain the image that she's better with you than without, No matter how you do it. Keep her wanting to talk to you (plz stay away from the constant txting and calling) and always remember ppl want what they can't or shouldn't have

This is true, but in my little story I did it on purpose. Her not responding didn't affect me at all. My thinking will always be that if I make plans and you don't get back to me then you're not interested. Trying to flip the script so she's waiting on me would require that I continue giving her attention and I have no interest in doing so. It's not like I won't see this girl again. I go to her place of work all the time. Who do you think is going to feel awkward when I walk in? Definitely not me.
