I've been on five dates with chicks I met on the internet. Two of those chicks were good looking in person, but not exactly special. Actually, for two of them, I took a chance and said, what the hell. One was better looking than her pictures, the most recent one was worse.

The best looking one was young and there was real potential there. It's too bad because she lived too far from me. I went out an hour to NJ to meet up with her and then she later dropped the bomb that she was moving an hour farther away. She texted me for a while but I eventually just stopped talking to her because I wasn't gonna travel two hours. Plus, she was a goodie so it would be a waste.

I probably blew it with the other chick. First time I can say I wasn't sure what was going on. Went out on a date with this girl and every now and then she'd talk about her friend - the groupie that would sex up all of these rappers they know and immediately say: "I'm not like her." So, ok. Then later one she invites me to her place, but her roommate is there working on some project. When I think about it now, I probably missed the signs, but I'm still not sure what was her deal. She never called me back so I guess she was looking for one thing and I blew it. Still can't say for sure.

Usually I feel like these girls on match (I'm giving that a shot now. I really just don't have time to meet girls. My job is too consuming) are looking for relationships. I guess I kinda am but also not. I'm stuck in the middle. So I think I end up sending one type of email one day and another type the next. The only thing I don't like about match is no way of knowing who has a subscription. Can't even be sure that the chick knows you're alive.

Yeah it's completely free. Thanks for the kind words. So far it's been working out great. We'll see how things go but yeah so far thank goodness for that site!

Or she didn't like the way you looked and made up a lie about a boyfriend. Hahaha!

I doubt she would pick me up from my crib and be the main one asking to chill if she thought I was ugly...LOL

But yeah, here's the thing with this particular chick. We were only friends. Since she never had a photo on her page, I was kinda nonchalant about meeting her. I would chat with her when I had nothing to do, but in a friendly type of way, PLUS I was away at school at the time. I had probably known her for about a year before we finally met, which shows how much I prioritized meeting with her. Turned out that she happened to be fine!

Now, after knowing someone that long and never really being on that flirting tip, it's kinda hard to transition from that to actually trying to get with them. So we would hang out...and a lot of the times, it was she who initiated it. I mean, this girl was everything I wanted, but at the same time, she never gave the impression she wanted to be anything more than friends, and neither did I for the reasons I gave in paragraph one. I knew she had an ex or whatever, but at this point, I thought she was completely single. One time, a dude called me from her phone on some jealous ish. She called me the next day apologizing, but I didn't care because I wasn't her man or anything, but it still made me keep my eyes open.

So anyway at this point, we had been cool for like 2-3 years now. I was still doing my thing with other chicks, but I liked her. Then one day, she dropped the bomb on me. She called and asked if I was dating anyone, and I told her I wasn't. I'm thinking she's about to tell me she liked me. Instead, she tells me she has a friend who would be perfect for me. I was feeling too salty! Then she mentions going to the mall with her so I could meet her friend and that she had to pick up something for her boyfriend. I felt like I got punched in the stomach, but I remained cool over the phone. In hindsight, I shoulda met the friend, but I was too hurt at the time. We would hang out a few times after that, but I never looked at her the same again...

I did the internet thing once and never again. One day I was bored and I was kind of tired of some chick I was dating at the time so I joined this dating site just to mess around. Long story short. I posted my pic on the site. The next day I get an email from some girl who was feeling me and wanted to hook up. I asked her for a pic and wanted to see her profile. The chick sends me a pic and her profile had no pic.

That was a red flag, but she seemed cool so I went along. In the pic she looked nice with an ONION(My type of women). We started speaking every night and the girl had a wonderful personality. While speaking to her she would tell me things like " I stop traffic blah blah blah" So I was ok this chick must be pretty good looking(I know I was young and dumb at the time). She starts telling me that she wants to meet me. So a week later I decided to drive to jersey from Brooklyn. I asked a friend of mine to join me since it was some crazy hood. When I arrived over there the street looked very grimmy. I sat and waited in my Acura Legend for her to come down from her house. When I see this crackhead looking chick I'm like OHHH S**T WTF!! I looked at my boy and I tell him i'm going to peal out. He's like nah man that's cold. I responded " This chick is weak and she lied about her looks" She had shown me a fake picture. So I decided not to peal out and atleast talk to her. Once she approached the car the first thing I noticed on this 80 pound skeleton was something that looked like a herpe outbreak on her upper lip. She had like 5 blister stacked up. Then I notice she's wearing some busted air force ones with no socks. I'm like WTF is this S**T. She looks at me and says hey you look nice.

I look at her and stay quite. After 10 seconds of silence she asked me if I was going to let her in my car. At this point I feel like letting her know that she deceived me, but I let her in. She tells me to drive her to this burger spot so we can eat so I start telling her that I have things to do and that I will come back another day alone so we could chill. I drive like 2 blocks when she tells me to stop because she wants to say hi to her mother she just saw driving around. I see a ladie more like a dude coming towards us from her taxi car she drives. The girl's mom had a tighter fade then derek jeter. The mom(Dude) tells me to take good care of her daughter. In my mind I'm like YEA OK.. At this point my boy who was with me is laughing. We leave and I tell the girl I'm taking her back home. The girl starts asking me why am i leaving. Once we arrived in front of her house. I don't want to hurt the girls feeling so I say" By talk to you some other time". The girls says" Can I get a good bye kiss?" At that point I look at her and say " No sorry". She left the car upset and slamed the door. My boy was in tears laughing. I took off and 10 minutes later she calls me and starts talking to me when I interupt her and tell her she deceived me and I told her Me and you know you don't stop any traffic. I told her not to call me again. Sorry for the long story, but that's my first and last internet dating experience..

I would have driven away too. Although I say that now. When I was younger I would probably have been too nice to. Heck I probably would have kissed her too and then washed my mouth like crazy when she left. Yeah I was a sap what can I say. I'm trying to change that about myself.

I was 18 years old at the time. I should have been rude to her, but I guess I didn't want to destroy her feelings at the time.
