Unwritten rules...
I was talking to one of my female co-workers (don't remember how we got on this subject, LOL) and she was surprised that I don't speak to people while in the restroom. I told her that I believe it's an unwritten rule among men. Am I correct on this?

Re: Unwritten rules...
Here's one I follow: If possible, avoid occupying a urinal directly next to another guy. Only do this if you have absolutely no other choice (including the sink).
Also, I have a strict rule against playing sports with girls. It just never ends well.

Re: Unwritten rules...
Along the bathroom theme, using the "every other" rule, especially for urinals... don't be that guy who stands right next to the one dude peeing when there are 3 or 4 other spots open. Also, if you're the first guy, take one on the end rather than the 2nd one in...Send your Midnight Release weirdo pics/videos to my new website: http://www.peopleofmidnightreleases.com!Comment

Re: Unwritten rules...
As far as bathrooms go, wash your hands before you leave. I believe this is only a rule for employees, everyone else may choose not to do it on their own peril.
And this is one that bugs me when I watch other people do it. I'll be approaching a crosswalk the same time as a car is approaching the stop sign behind the crosswalk. As a person that logically understands a car can get out of the way quicker than a pedestrian can, I'll let them go first if it's a tie or I don't get there first. That's very reasonable. However, I may come up on it and someone else behind me will be as well (or on the other side of the street), and while I let the car go by, the other person will just obliviously start walking into the crosswalk, basically saying: "He must yield to me, so I'm going to walk out there." I don't agree with this and it pisses me off, but I'll walk with him because he decides to.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: Unwritten rules...
For me Regarding the bathroom:
1) It's OK to talk to people you know. Don't make conversation with strangers. This only goes for when you are going pee. If you are sitting down, don't talk to anyone.
2) When possible, leave a urinal in between you and the other pee'er. If there are three urinals, use #1 and #3. Don't be a middle urinaler and make an uncomfortable choice for the next visitor. If you arrive and #1 and #3 are occupied, you have two choices. 1) Use a stall 2) Use #2 ONLY if there are borders between the urinals. (Option #2 is void at sporting events).
3) If you drop a deuce, WASH YOUR HANDS. If you go pee, WASH YOUR HANDS. Forget the fact that you don't pee on your hands...nobody does. However, you are a guy, you probably sweat down there at one point or another during the course of the day. Also, ask your self one question. If you were about to shake hands with someone and you saw him reach down his pants and adjust himself, would you still want to shake his hand? Then why would you not wash your hands after peeing.
4) Courtesy flushes are your friend.Comment

Re: Unwritten rules...
In elevators, I always seem to not make eye contact with anyone, press what floor I'm headed to and start looking down at my phone. LOL. I seem to do that every single time.
Definitely agree with the 1st and 3rd stall occupancy.PSN: xxplosive1984Originally posted by J. ColeFool me one time that's shame on you. Fool me twice can't put the blame on you. Fool me three times, **** the peace sign, load the chopper let it rain on you.

Re: Unwritten rules...
Don't say anything about a No-Hitter until the 8th inning
Don't say anything about hitting for the cycle unless he needs a single or he already did it.
Don't sit down until the first basket is scored
Stand on the bleachers at football games.
Don't take up the seat behind the box at a football game (I think that's just an LSU-specific rule)
Be quiet during the other team's alma materAnd may thy spirit live in us, Forever LSU

I also abide by the "don't use the urinal next to one already being used if it can be avoided" rule. Also, always wash my hands.Steelers : IX, X, XIII, XIV, XL, XLIII

I abide by this as well if there is no divider between the urinals. And, even then, I try to avoid it if possible.Comment
