Basically sums it up for me.

I liked baseball when I was a child but, I grew tired of it as it began to get extremely more and more BORING! I can't watch soccer for more than 30 seconds and I can watch golf sometimes when Tiger Woods is on. I liked playing hockey video games when I was a kid just to hit people and fight on the game but, actually watching it is a different story. I can watch women sports if it's a close game and competitive and toward the end of the game but, most of the time I don't even give it a look unless it's tennis or volleyball(for various reasons and even then it doesn't stay on that channel very long unless I see some serious potential).

Oh and did I mention women+track=nice. I can watch that for a while even if it was just women but, the most boring sport for me to watch would be baseball(in the playoffs/championship it's more interesting) and It's still hard keeping interest even in that setting.

I don't know if I really can't stand any sports, but there are sports I don't really like.

I've never really been all that interested in soccer, hockey, MMA, tennis, boxing, or golf. Most of those are probably fun to play, but to watch on TV doesn't do it for me.

I like most forms of racing (it seems like people either love it or hate it), but I've never been able to get into Formula 1.

I haven't watched enough rugby or cricket to really have much of an opinion.

I imagine it's for the same reason people don't like to watch soccer.

They can't stand the lack of constant action, and can't appreciate the finer points of the sport. To each his own...

Baseball lost a generation of younger fans. (the 15-35 age range) In fact, the general baseball fan is older then fans of the other sports while participation in the game has gone down substantially in the US which is why there's a sizable group of foreign born players that dominate the game.

The sport has also through no fault of the GMs, managers and scouts has gotten more and more lilly white again. This has been such a problem in recent years that inner city youth baseball programs have been set up to foster participation in the game by everyone no matter their background.

Women sports bore the hell out of me. Tennis, hockey, golf and nascar bores me too. Whats with all this soccer hate ?????? LOL

Well I guess if you grew up watching american soccer only then yeah I can see why it is boring to most people in america. But euro leagues soccer is the shiznit. Their talent is decades ahead of american soccer.

I've seen world cup matches and international games but soccer is just not entertaining. I would have more fun watching a video of different crowds in bars around the world reacting to the world cup games with their teams in it than watch the actual games.

I guess you have a point. It's just that after all these years watching American movies showing American kids dreaming about baseball and all that...
Well, I come from a place that soccer is what baseball used to be in the US (or supposed to be). I was supposed to be a HUGE soccer fan, but I just can't stand it, I just can't. for me soccer represents everything I hate about sports and about people. Not a nice thing to say, but that's the way I feel.
But just like you said, to each his own.
