To be honest with you. I think your grammar can use some work too. You have some words in there you just don't need and you might be missing some comas too. I think when it comes to drinking as long as you are a happy drunk, then I don't care if people drink or how much they drink, but if you a violent drunk then I have problem. My brother was a violent drunk. I did not like that about his drinking. But one drink a day is not going to hurt you in my opinion.
Do you have a drink each day after work?

sorry Matrix...hope that didn't come off as sounding smartass...not intended if so...I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

Like Phobia said, having a drink once a day is actually good for your health. Men's Health magazine highly recommends it.

Re: Do you have a drink each day after work?

To answer the original question, no.

This is going to sound crazy to some of you, but I'm 20 years old and have never had so much as a sip of alcohol. I was involved in a lot of drug and alcohol free groups in high school and had some great leaders who set a good example for me and I respected a lot. I didn't want to risk losing their respect and trust so I just never drank, and I have a couple of my best friends who don't drink, either, so we're a good support system for one another when it seems like everyone else at our university is drinking. Along with that, the county I grew up in had a law where you automatically got a weekend in jail if you got MIP, so it definitely was not worth it.

I have been to a party, although it was in high school, and never drank. I have no problem with those who do drink, even underage, and I don't blame them for doing so. It's just not worth it to me, although I do fully plan to drink socially when I do turn 21, but not before.

I think it'll be a good teaching tool for when I have kids and I can't see myself regretting waiting for my first drink to be until legal age when I get older, but I guess we'll see.Yankees | Titans | Huskers | Kings

Re: Do you have a drink each day after work?

Thanks for sharing that bro. I have a lot of respect for you too. That is not an easy thing to do. I did some drinking in my teens, but not as much as some have. So I can relate with you a little bit. And it will be a great teaching tool when you are a parent. To answer the original question, no.

When I have nothing going on after work I'll usually have 1 or 2. It helps me unwind."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Even if you're giving minimal effort there is no way you can fail."

One of my best friends was just like you, 8 years later, he smokes 2 packs of cigarettes a day and drinks more beer then any human I know.To answer the original question, no.

Re: Do you have a drink each day after work?

If I have beer in the house, I will.

I'll occasionally buy a six or a twelve of Stella, or other various imports, and grab one at night. Drink a beer and watch a movie, or play a videogame. Sometimes I'll grab a beer and do some reading for class.

However, if there isn't any beer in the house, I'm not going to run to the store to get any. I'll just occasionally pick up a 6 or 12 pack one night and go through it over a one to two week span.Comment

Re: Do you have a drink each day after work?

For what it's worth I had never had alcohol until I was 22 or 23. Over the past year or so I've drank maybe one or two beers a week usually only on a weekend. Exception being football season tailgating. To answer the original question, no.

Re: Do you have a drink each day after work?

yes, but not absolutely. I like and appreciate wine, and am into cooking too, so it goes hand in had. Some nights I'll have a beer or two and other nights nothing. I would say that most of the time yeah, but I don't think that's what you're asking. You guys are talking about the door closing behind you and making a bee-line to the fridge. I'll do that sometimes too, but nothing is regular enough or like clock-work for me to just give a simple yes or no.Liquor in the front, poker in the rear.Comment
