The glasses/contacts thing would be a big weakness. If I had time to prepare for the apocalypse, I would be sure to be with my father-in-law, since he's a hunter and has a bunch of guns and crossbows.

Of course, if the machines take over and build cyborgs with Austrian accents, nobody's going to survive.

If I had to rely on my own hunting skills, no. But I like to think I am smart enough to form an alliance with other people with those skills to have a chance to survive.

I know how to handle guns, and I can very well shoot them. Doubt I'd live through an Apocalypse, but I'm not going down without a fight.

No. My hearing and vision would take me down, and if I somehow managed to survive those my body's extreme hate for heat would kill me quickly anyways.

I'd probably not make it past the first wave, and if I survived that who knows? Man is an absolutely disgusting creature and is only as good as his surroundings make him. If an apocalypse ever hit, we'd see some absolutely sickening things being done simply to survive, and in that case, I don't' think it would be a world I'd want to live in anyway.

We'll need someone w/ experience making lenses. If you ever worked for lens crafters you are a must to our survival!

Possibly. I'm smart enough to avoid doing all the stupid things that get people killed, but I'm not Survivorman or Bear Grylls when it comes to hunting, fishing, etc. I have done a bit of it, but not really a "live in the woods for a month" type of guy.

I say possibly because if I can adapt quick enough to start, learning what I need to, then I can use my planning and smarts to survive.

I really think it depends whether i want to survive or not. I was a boy scout for a few years so i learned the essentials of living out in the wild but like i said it depends. If i am all alone all of my friends and family are dead i wouldn't want to survive. I can't enjoy life with out having the people i love around me if they are all dead i might as well kill myself because there really is no point to my existence.

I could survive but it would be tough at first. Being out of shape would be hurting me in the beginning but if I could survive for about a month then I think I'd be good. To be honest, if there were no more smokes around that alone would help me immensely. Boy Scout, Army, a Southern mother and various bits of info from different shows would give me a fighting chance. First priority is to rob a gun store, I mean just clean it out , secure some transportation (gotta get rid of the white car and get a black compact SUV or something) and get some water. From there my chances probably increase by 50 percent.
