I feel so old now.......I asked my nephews and nieces if they watched the Charlie Brown Christmas on TV or Rudolph cartoon and they said what the heck is a Charlie Brown ? Does it come on Cartoon Network ? Does he have a game out on the DS ?

Younger generation knows nothing of the awesome cartoons of the past......

Hell I remember when I was a kid I use to watch Charlie Brown every holiday for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentines, Easter....

SMH at cartoons nowadays......The only cartoons I can get into now is the following:

Family Guy
Aqua Teen Hunger Force - I know so many guys that look and act like Carl that it is a shame.
The Boondocks

Amazingly I woke up this morning and turn on the tv, not one cartoon was on, on the regular tv networks.......WOW. Sad that one needs cable in order to watch saturday morning cartoons.

I remember back when I was a kid cartoons use to come on at 6am to 11am on CBS, ABC, NBC and Fox. Then during the week it use to come on at 2pm to 5pm on Fox.

Now if you have a child you got to have Cartoon Network in order for them watch cartoons because even Disney Channel don't even show cartoons anymore.

I remember when I 1st got Disney Channel 20 years, all day all night they had nothing but Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Tom & Jerry, Babar, etc. It was awesome......

Now it is full of tv shows......lame

Just like MTV, VH1 and BET, full of tv shows instead of ummm ya know, music videos.

Just like in the past, G4 use to be full of videogame and PC stuff. Now it is full of tv shows that isn't videogame or PC related. Why is it I see Cops, Miami Cops, Campus Cops and all that other BS on G4 ???

The only game related show they have on there now is Xplay. Because even The Attack of The Show don't really talk about videogames anymore, 98% of their show is doing some stupid comedy bit........

Arghhhhhh what is wrong with this current generation ?

I miss the afternoon cartoons on fox. Used to come home from school, grab a snack, and plop down in front of the TV. Now, at least in my area, it's nothing but judge/court shows for about 8 straight hours.

Oh and I agree, I used to wake up early every saturday just to watch cartoons Heck, cartoons used to be so big that one of the TGIF shows on ABC would do a whole half hour ABC Fall cartoon preview show!

I don't feel bad for you Husker. I'm in year 10 in my Indiana dynasty and last season was my first Big 10 title, first BCS bowl appearance (I beat Cal in the Rose Bowl), and highest ranking #12.

I typically sign a lot of 3 guys and some 4 star guys. Now I'm signing a lot of 4 star guys and trying to recruit 5 stats.

Ohio State use to always kick my ***, but I beat them the last 2 seasons. Iowa is tough though, I've only beat them once and that was on a last second field goal to clinch the BigTen last season.

See, I put Iowa out of the Big Ten. Also put Penn State out.

A recruiting moment that really pissed me off happened during my current season. I created a recruit for the 1st time since I desperately need a QB. I made him a speed demon with a solid arm and he ranked as a 5-star and the #2 QB. Naturally, his hometown is Bloomington, IN. I was #2 on his list behind Michigan and EVERY week I spent 60 minutes on him and made 3 promises. He committed to Michigan in week 7. I wanted to quit right then because my QB situation is hideous.

Yeah Penn State, Ohio State, Iowa, and Wisconsin are always tough in my dynasty. Michigan had some good years but the last 2 years they went 6-6.

But then Northwestern, Minnesota, and Illinois are terrible. They lose to MAC and Sun Belt teams every year lol. Minnesota gets 2 wins a year if they are lucky.

My QB situation has always been pretty good. In the beginning of my dynasty I lucked out and signed a 3 * athlete. I put him at QB and his speed was high 90's, and his acceleration and agility were all very high so it was fun running with him. I have a 4* QB out of Indianapolis with a 90 OVR rating right now starting for me and he is pretty good.

Thank goodness I finally heard back from one of my early action schools.

I don't think I'm going to get my email from Michigan until Monday, but I got into Carroll School at BC today, so I'm pretty pumped for that.
