What a night. I go to a show, its awesome. Go downstairs at the show and see the floor about to cave in. Leave, to find my car towed. Go to the towing place, catch my car before it goes in the gate, pay 100 dollars to get it back.


At least the one band I got to see was good.

Well the hypocrisy bugs me for one, if we're talking strictly ratings here. Games get bumped down all the time for being "more of the same", which is precisely what GTA IV is. For example, I own Armored Core 4, and Armored Core For answer. AC4 scored about a 7ish, while ACFA scored in the six's range, even though it's a more complete game in every way, it was penalized for sharing the same gameplay and format as it's predecessor. Even Fallout New Vegas was bumped down in ratings because it was more of the same. It just bugs me that seemingly GTA and Call of Duty are the only exceptions to that rule. And to me a 10, and to most game review syllabus', a 10 is reserved for an Almost perfect and or highly Innovative/Revolutionary game, I don't see how anyone can say that for GTA IV.

Yea, while good, CoD is much the same game of the last 5-6 titles? It does not deserve a 10 every time imo

I also hate when they keep calling back like they expect you to magically turn into the person they are calling.

I recall one time a guy called my home phone asking if this was NAPA Auto parts. I told him no this was a residence. He then asks me if I knew the number of NAPA. What am I the operator?

I was late to the GTA lV party. I'm just too into sports games, I always have active legacies/dynasties, etc... that need to be worked on. When I got GTA 4, I spent two nights playing and had fun, but went back to a sports game and haven't played it since. Like I said, I enjoyed the game, but it doesn't beckon me the way sports games do with the urgency to complete a season before the next iteration comes out.

While playing 2k11 in my player mode, my guy just did the MJ foul line dunk over another defender. I lost my ****, one of the only times i've ever done that while playing a sports game.

Love when that happens. Something like that happened with Amare in my Knicks Assoc. the other day. Dunked right over LeBron. I lost it. Stood up, yelled OHHHHHHH and sat back down. It was so sick.

I loved GTA IV and love the entire GTA series. They're my favorite games aside from sports games. I still have my copy of GTA IV I got at the midnight release. It's the absolute one game I could never trade.

I can see how some people were let down by it or think it's overrated, but I wasn't let down at all and it's still one of my favorite games ever.

Also, the online wasn't the greatest, but it still gave you some great moments. Like the time I played Cops N Crooks and was the last guy left. There were 2 sets of cop cars chasing me down and they had me caught from both sides on a bridge. Just as they're about to kill me and win, I leap off the bridge into the water and get away on a boat to win.

I just had one of these moments a few days ago playing NBA.

Game 1 of my first round series vs the Heat in my Cavs Association (2nd year). I was down 1 with 4 seconds left and then hit the buzzer beater 3 with Melo to win it.
