Thank goodness your dad is safe James.

Oh and yes, I have a bad feeling about the Olympics in Rio aside from the wild parties that will be going on that place is a prime target for some crazy terrorist action.

I am about to be a senior in high school and now my parents have decided to move me to a place where I have a whole bunch of family members but dont know anybody else at all.

I'll be starting school a week later than everybody else and I am going to be in school with way more ethnic diversity than ever before. Im coming from a predominantly Black and Hispanic school in the northeast to move to a predominantly White and Hispanic school in the south.

Now the problem is that at this point in my life I havent lived in any other place than the one Im moving from and I'm kinda worried that I might not adapt to the slow pace, or not feel comfortable especially now that im a senior and people have their group of friends already. I think of myself as being very independent but Ive never been in a situation where I didnt know anybody especially now.

Should I try to fit in with everybody or does being the new guy from Up north stand for something? I am definitely not trying to become popular or anything but I wanna at least be comfortable at where Im going to be living(At least for a year).

I'm with you CB. The last two friend requests I got were from people I couldn't stand in High School. Neither request was accepted.

yeah one was a friend of my ex-wife. I'm thinking, "why in the hell would I want to talk to you? When my ex and I got divorced, you helped her take things from the house that didn't belong to her and also break **** of mine that I truly cherished."

Not sure what's up with my computer. 2 nights ago it just randomly turned off, and would not turn back on. I went to bed, woke up in the morning and it still wouldn't turn on. I unplugged it for a minute, plugged it back in and it turned on, but turned off before windows loaded, and wouldn't turn back on. I tried unplugging it again, and then this time it worked for the rest of the day, until late last night it again turned off. Then today, same thing, unplugged it and it turned on but off again quickly, then I tried again and it's been working for the last 6 hours or so.

If they were actually expecting you to accept that request, then they have to be crazy.

Last time I had a problem like that, my power supply was fried. Had to take it to get repaired. Everntually had to replace it anyway.

trust me...she's crazy/naive enough to believe that after all this time I have forgiven her.

had a similar issue as nyjets with my laptop for work, and it was the power supply as you mentioned. But instead of replacing it, they just bought me a new laptop.

Just be you. If people like you then they like you, but if they don't then **** 'em.

Wonder if traffic is going to bad where I live seeing as the US Am Open starts tomorrow. Can't even imagine how it's going to be when they host the US Open in 2015.
