This Bill Simmons Podcast is Full of Win

Was that the one where they talked about Jersey Shores for 30 minutes and his buddy was saying how he has a special place in his heart for celebrities who have recently been spurned by the media.

That was actually the first Simmons podcast i had listened 2 but i will be subscribing for sure. It's funny but his voice doesn't sound like i thought it would when you see his picture. He almost sounds like a teenager when he talks but man he sure is funny!!

Well I just played a couple interesting games of NCAA Football 11

- #4 Pitt (9-0) @ S. Florida (4-3)
1. Middle of the 1st quarter: I threw a pass that at first my receiver appeared to drop in the corner of the endzone but then for some reason the booth decides to review it (remember, middle of the 1st quarter). Well, they then call it a TD though when I look at the replay it didn't seem like my WR ever had posession. Stranger still, the game stats gave my WR credit for a TD reception but didn't give my QB a TD pass.
2. I threw a pass that appeared to be caught by my receiver then somehow it winds up in the DB's hands and they call it an INT. If anything, it should've been a fumble.
-I won the game 31-10

- #4 Pitt (10-0) vs. #5 WVU (9-0)
This game was just ridiculous
1. I was down 10-0 early after throwing 3 interceptions (2 occurred because my QB was getting hit as he threw, I got sacked like 8 times in the game). I eventually fought back and was up 16-10 in the 3rd when things got even crazier.
2. They march down the field shredding my pass D (Their QB had 316 yards with 3 TD & 1 INT) and score a TDto take a 17-16 lead. After I had to punt, they again marched right down the field and scoreed a TD to take a 24-16 lead.
3. I then march down the field and score a TD but miss the 2 PT play so its 24-22 them. However, on their next drive my CB picks off their QB for a pick 6 and I kick the EP to take a 29-24 lead.
4. They then march down the field and score a TD and get the 2 PT play to take a 32-29 lead.
5. 1st play of my next drive, Dion Lewis breaks an 80 yard TD run and I kick the EP to go up 36-32.
6. They then march down the field and are in FG range with about 2 mintues left when I force them to 4th down and they kick the FG to make it 36-35 (why, I don't know). They then try the onside kick but I recover and run out the clock for the 36-35 win. Greatness score was only 308.

Slap me around and call me Susan but why am I now just realizing how funny The Office is. Never watched this show before 9:00 PM but I've been watching it nonstop, laughing my *** off.

The old stuff is great but once they got somewhat serious (imo) with the later seasons, it got very bleh.

This reminds me, I've always found the whole sport/sports math/maths thing kind of funny. We say "sports" and "math", but other countries say "sport" and "maths".

Tonight people, specially 30+ year old people are celebrating "La noche de la nostalgia". It consist a night that people go to pubs, parties, etc to remember the old days, watching old tv shows, listening and dancing 60's to 80's songs, rember what people did 20 to 50 years ago. Also this date is always the 24/8, one day before a historic date to our country.
Does some other country have this kind of day?
