I won't say the beatles suck, but I don't see what the big deal is

Honestly, Oasis's slower songs (Talk Tonight, The Masterplan, Wonder wall) are just as good (if not better in the Masterplan's case) than most of the Beatles songs.

            That is all.

Oh, while i'm not the biggest Beatles fan but comparing Oasis' slower songs and saying some are better than most of the Beatles catalogue is just NUTS!

Just saying. The Beatles can sing Talk Tonight and Oasis can sing Come Together and nobody would notice a difference, except that maybe Noel was more drunk than usual

I don't necessarily like the Beatles, but I appreciate them for all they've done.

The world of music today would be very different without them.

You just proved my point for me. No one is saying the Beatles were the most talented musicians. They were innovators, taking all types of musical styles and blending them into a perfect combination of pop music. All they did was revolutionize the music industry and transcend it to become a global cultural force. NO other band has even come close to what they did. Maybe MJ at his peak could be in the conversation. Maybe.

In my mind, music should not be confined to Genres, and musical styles are independent of the band themselves. Nobody blends musical styles. A band has a style all of it's own. Take Dave Grohl for instance. When you take Nirvana and the Foo Fighters, at first you can see similarities with the sound, but comparing "Learn to Fly" to "Smells Like Teen Spirit" and "Everlong" to "About a Girl", there's little to no similarities. Throw in QOTSA and Them Crooked Vultures and now you have 4 different "styles" (although QOTSA and Them Crooked Vultures are relatively close) and now the case can be made that Dave Grohl was just as good a innovator as the Beatles were.

While I'm on Grohl, I think he is without a doubt one of the better (if not the best) musicians of the past 20 years, let alone this decade.

Another Oasis/Beatles comparison: Go Let it Out is more or less a Beatles song

The closest Chik-Fil-A is 30 minutes away.

I've only been there once. Got the number 1 combo. Unimpressed.

Pretty much spot. Though George was very talented on the guitar and one of the greatest guarist in my opinion. Paul and John could right music and lyrics with the best of them. Their songs had great hooks.
