ESPN Classic had the Tyson-Spinks fight on the other day and Trump was in the ring with Don King... pre-fight. My 10-year-old nephew asked who the guy with the funny hair was. I told him he'd have to be more specific.

Re: Off Topic 2010

4 people died pretty close to my house last night when a Double Decker bus slammed into a low bridge. Gruesome. This Section of road is called Onondaga Lake Parkway, it is 55MPH and it has a bridge that is so low it gets hits 2-3 times a year by tractor Trailers. I can only Imagine what these Emergency Responders say because the people on the top of this bus basically hit this bridge with the upper half of their body. BTW, This entire Stretch of road is so lit up with warning signs and flashing lights, Its hard to believe anyone can hit this thing.
Here is a little update:Salina, NY -- Four people are dead after a double-decker Megabus slammed into the railroad bridge across Onondaga Lake Parkway early this morning.
Don Carmichael, senior vice president for Coach USA, said 37 passengers were on the manifest leaving Philadelphia, but it's not certain how many were actually on the bus. The bus was on its way from Allentown, Pa., to Syracuse, Buffalo, and Toronto. The driver told police he remembered about 25 passengers.
Onondaga County Sheriff Kevin Walsh said the dead were two men and a 19-year-old male, and a female in her teens or early 20s. Two were from other countries and one was from Kansas.
Twenty-four people were taken to area hospitals with injuries ranging from minor to critical injuries, Walsh said.
The bus had not made the stop in Syracuse, Carmichael said. He had "no idea why the bus was where it was. It was definitely not on the prescribed route."
A crew was working to pull the bus away from the bridge. Sweaters, drinks and 11 mismatched shoes were scattered along the road under the bridge. The front of the bus was crumpled, with a mass of wires and broken televisions.Last edited by Cusefan; 09-11-2010, 01:20 PM.My dog's butt smells like cookiesComment

I used to write down the stats, too! It all started to memorialize a year in which barry sanders had 4,000 yards rushing and jerry ball had 75 sacksThe Tecmo Bowl series is still some of my favorite games of all time.
My brother and I used to play every single game of Tecmo Super Bowl. Regular season, playoffs, everything. Then we would write down all of our season stats in a note book, start another season and compare stats. We played that game for hours and hours on end. Good times.

I didn't write down stats but I did write down injuries for the whole league (since there was no record of them anywhere in the game)Comment

Anyone find it a little strange to read the sad story about 4 people losing their lives in a tragic bus accident, followed up with the "my dogs butt smells like cookies" sig?

Re: Off Topic 2010
Yeah that is a really tragic story and its not even the first time I've heard of something like that happening.
Now I don't feel quite right posting this right after that pic but . . .
WOW!!!
I just got back from the Pitt game and went to check other scores on ESPN.com and see that #13 VT lost to James Madison. Sorry Giggas and any other VT fans. I heard the score was 10-7 VT just before the half which was during halftime of the Pitt game, but didn't really think much of it. I see Minnesota (South Dakota) and Akron (Gardner Webb) also lost to I-AA teams. I'd been a bit nervous about Pitt's game against UNH, but they won pretty easily 38-16. Should've been 38-10 but the defense got soft at the end of the game when it was already decided. I'm not sure what I find more disheartening. Defenses going soft at the end of a game that has long since been decided or half the fans leaving before the end of the game when it has been over for a long time.

Re: Off Topic 2010
Alright, so I returned my broken copy of NCAA 11 today and got a new one. At the store they are suppose to open the seal up so you can't return it or exchange it for a different game (I think) but they didn't. Now I am also a big Hockey fan and Football fan and I know that NHL 11 did super awesome. Now I am debating weather to keep NCAA 11 or get NHL 11. So for those of you who have both, which would you rather keep? Thanks guys.Comment
