Lab, she only barks at the UPS Man. I have deadbolts on all my doors and I lock my windows so Im not worried about it.

I hate people who steal. My parents house has been hit twice. Luckily they have a security system so the ***holes never get much as they flee the scene quickly.

Deadbolts are crucial. Also need a strong door frame.

I see three methods of entry:
1) Door kicked in
2) Window pried open
3) Window pane broken, reached in an unlocked

There are more but those are the top three.

I hope I get this job change so I can stop these people.

Like I said earlier, I will hear someone breaking into my house. Im not gonna say i can prevent someone from breaking in, but if Im home I can prevent them from leaving. Im paranoid about Home Invasions so I do a pretty good job of locking up. I will say this though, i would have no problem Shooting someone in my house, I Probably would just shoot them on sight rather than trying to subdue them.

You gotta go after the pawn shops. I suppose its like drugs but reverse, Instead of taking out the source you have to target the buyers. When i got my xbox and laptop stolen in the Army I went to all the local pawnshops and found all my stuff at one of them. It took like 2 years to get it all back though...

Well...

Like I said, it's HIGHLY unlikely somebody will break in while you're home. These aren't 1st time offenders. They know what they're doing. There is zero reason to do it when people are home. Higher level of crime and more risk for them.

They also don't pawn too much. They rather sell it to others looking for things, and I'd assume CL would be a good tool for them.

Also, people rarely record their serial numbers to big purchases. OS members? Do you have your serial #'s written down somewhere? Probably not! Without a serial number or something very unique you're SOL with pawn shops.

Yes! I do the same thing. Not quite as long, but I take a month or two between eating them then I'll just eat them a ton as a snack for about a week then stop again. Makes them so much better.

I would like to think that My dog would bark at any burgler thus giving me enough time to grab my mossburg but that is just wishful thinking. She will just go up to the burgler, wag her tale and try to get the burgler to pet her. I swear it could be a chainsaw wielding madman breaking into my house, my dog is not gonna bark.

Now if you are driving a UPS Truck then she might kill you.

Heh, my chocolate labe would've done yours one better. She'd have helped the burglar steal stuff as she was a kleptomaniac in her own right. Also, she loeved the UPS guy (and anyone else she saw approaching our house). She'd stand at the door with a toy in her mouth and doing what we called her "happy dance". She'd wag her tail (and whole rear end) while moving her feet around like she was standing on hot coals and letting out the occasional whine for good measure. Quite comical.

Since I live around Wake Forest's campus, I always root for them...but their defense is atrocious. I'm sure MassNole thinks Christian Ponder is once again a heisman favorite but he looked good because of a HS equivalent defense, not because he is elite.

Eh he only said something to the extent of, "The Mighty Seminoles beat the lowly Demon Deacons" or something to that extent. Nothing too outrageous.
