I am getting a bad addiction with Star bucks hot chocolate and a can of Whip cream. When I eat all the whip cream. I put more on. Not good for my stomach.Comment

been/was working at Target for the past 6 years since APRIL 04.
i have worked in pretty much every department at one time or another but now a days i am mostly outside doing carts. this is by choice cuz i hated working inside.
i use to be late alot which got me to my final notice but i been cleaning it up, coming on time and everything until my car started giving trouble recently and it would act up on the way to work. i would even leave early just in case it started to trip. needless to say i was late a couple times because of it. not really tripping to much on this because the late stuff before hand was my fault.
but they said the real reason was that i was leaving early. lol my availibility for the last 3 years has been 12:15pm to 11pm monday through saturday (fridays= 12:15 to 8pm strictly).my shifts are usually 12:15 to 8pm or 4pm to 11pm. yet they would schedule me at to start at 12pm or untill 11 30pm or schedule me to close on Fridays when they know i cant do that. and i would tell them this every time i saw a mistake on the schedule. they would just say come in ur schedule time and it would be cool or see if u can switch with someone and if i couldnt they said ok, just leave at ur schedule time. yet they would write me up for it. smh
i hated the damn place anyway. the only thing that got me through each day was talking with co-workers. alot of cool people there. plus they have been replacing all our managers with new people with pretty much no experience. they sent all our other managers to other stores. and these new managers have been firing a whole bunch of people. even people who have been there for 15 plus years. well i guess thats what happens when new management comes in."on hoping there is a PSN flash sale before Valentine's Day"

I been thinking about getting a part time job at Best Buy. I don't really need the money. But it looks like a fun job. I could be wrong and I do look good in a blue shirt. I get off work at 3pm and I am getting too lazy. I just come home and lay down on the coach. It might be just a pipe dream and I probably will just continue to come home and be lazy, but I have been thinking about a part time job.Comment

Yes. The "cheerleader parents" want to see the cheerleaders. Just admit it, announcer guy, you want to see more of the cheerleaders. Cheerleader parents, what a bunch of baloney.
Context of the previous comment: watching a hockey game where the announcer said a "viewer" wanted to see more cheerleaders on TV, but we all know it was him that wanted more cheerleader action. Of course, I totally agree and am in no way complaining. WE WANT MOAR.

exactly, a lot of the time thats all co-workers converse about.
when it gets down to it, its the managers that make working there so annoying and sometimes unbearable. the things we have to do are not all that difficult for the most part its just that u have a manager who does not have the people skills to talk to you like your an adult just like they are or does not know what thier doing.
like i said i been a cart attendant for the most part now and alot of the time its only me working out there by myself. so ill go to lunch or break and they will send nobody outside to cover for me. so by the time i get back the cartwell inside has no carts! so ill come back to work and they will call me for a carryout to help someone put an item in a car. so while im helping the customer, they will radio me and tell me what am i doing we have no carts inside.
really?? im doing the carryout u asked me to do!?
i wonder why? maybe if u actually scheduled 2 of us like you are supposed too you wouldnt have this problem. or they will call me on the Walkie over and over on a Saturday about not having any carts inside when i am the only Cart Attendant working and it is upwards of 200+ people in the store!! and there even calling for extra cashiers when they have 16 lanes open!?
