I been thinking about getting a part time job at Best Buy. I don't really need the money. But it looks like a fun job. I could be wrong and I do look good in a blue shirt. I get off work at 3pm and I am getting too lazy. I just come home and lay down on the coach. It might be just a pipe dream and I probably will just continue to come home and be lazy, but I have been thinking about a part time job.

That's funny cause I've been thinkin about applying at a couple little restaurants in my area to learn their cuisines and get me off my arse.

I work the same. Get off around 3:00 (On most weekdays) head home chill for an hour or two then head off to get the kids and do the evening stuff. I don't really need the money either. But I want to learn some dfferent foods like Chinese and Greek and also it can help me make a little extra gaming scratch in the process.

I probably won't either but I do know what I am going to do if nothing else. And that is to head back to the gym afterwork again.

like i said i been a cart attendant for the most part now and alot of the time its only me working out there by myself. so ill go to lunch or break and they will send nobody outside to cover for me. so by the time i get back the cartwell inside has no carts! so ill come back to work and they will call me for a carryout to help someone put an item in a car. so while im helping the customer, they will radio me and tell me what am i doing we have no carts inside.

really?? im doing the carryout u asked me to do!?

i wonder why? maybe if u actually scheduled 2 of us like you are supposed too you wouldnt have this problem. or they will call me on the Walkie over and over on a Saturday about not having any carts inside when i am the only Cart Attendant working and it is upwards of 200+ people in the store!! and there even calling for extra cashiers when they have 16 lanes open!?

I remember those days (I worked at Sam's Club many years ago pushing carts).

It's not a job I'd wish on anyone, it wasn't fun at all. Might not be too bad if you have one of the motorized cart pushers, but we had to do it all by hand. Just rope, a hook, and leg power. Did get kind of exciting during winter since our parking lot was on a hill. Narrowly missed seriously injuring people a couple times because nobody would pay any attention.

yeah we had that. but trust me, that dont make it easy money all the time. of course sometimes when it wasnt busy it was an easy day. but most of the time that store was mad busy so that made things tougher on top of working by yourself.

yeah we had that. but trust me, that dont make it easy money all the time. of course sometimes when it wasnt busy it was an easy day. but most of the time that store was mad busy so that made things tougher on top of working by yourself.

Yeah, I know it doesn't make it easy, but it's definitely nicer than not having one at all. Not a fun job no matter what you have, though.

To tell you the truth managers are under a lot of pressure and stress. That is why they are dicks. I remember when I worked at a grocery store the manager was a dick, but I saw how his boss talk to him one day and you think we had pressure. They were responsible for so much.

trust me, i understand. but there is no reason to be a dick to everyone, all the time.

i know ur not going to get along with everyone who is working under you, thats life. but to be an *** to employees who are trying to work with you is asinine.

It is what it is. And Chef I want to start working out again, but weights are just too heavy for me now. I am still in good shape and could get in real good shape, but I am just not feeling all that working out after work.

Yeah man. Working out after work SUCKS. Early in the morning is the olny way to go. But the way my gym is I have to start gettin in there in the afternoons. ****
