Just found out the permits for the addition to our house were approved, so work should start next week. Meeting with the contractor tonight to go over some things. Good news in that the project is finally starting, bad news in that our house is going to be a mess for at least 2 months.

Just found out the permits for the addition to our house were approved, so work should start next week. Meeting with the contractor tonight to go over some things. Good news in that the project is finally starting, bad news in that our house is going to be a mess for at least 2 months.

This reminds me of a joke:

A mother and her son were flying Southwest Airlines from Kansas City to Chicago. Two things:

1) It must suck for teams in the ACC Coastal that aren't VT or GT to have never been to the ACC Championship Game.

2) My head isn't at work at all. I'm still sick and I'm only in today because I have to be (no more PTO). I can't focus on engineering software.
