Re: OS Book Club Pt II
How to Win in the Sport of Business by Mark Cuban. This is a very good read for anyone aspiring to start their own business. It's only $2.99 on amazon or the iTunes bookstore.Originally posted by J. Re: OS Book Club Pt II
Of course the real question is when I'll get around reading it. Got way too many books on my Kindle at the moment.Last edited by Chaos81; 01-25-2012, 10:52 PM.Comment

Re: OS Book Club Pt II
I used to be a big reader as a kid but from high school until recently I just couldn't get excited about reading.
Then I got a Kindle Fire for Christmas and it has really got me back into reading, I forgot how fun it is to just sit down and read.
Some of my friends recommended The Hunger Games. I finished it in 2 days, I loved it. I can't wait to move on to the second one and I'm really interested to see how the movie turns out.Huskers | Chelsea FC | Minnesota United | OmahaComment

Re: OS Book Club Pt II
Starting tom, I will be attempting to read at least 50 pages a day, at least six days a week. I feel intellectually bored now finally being out of college. While 300 pages is not a lot, once I get in the habit, I will likely read much more. While I am not entirely sure what book I am going to start with yet, some options are:
Malcolm X: A Life of Reinvention
Che Guevara: A Revolutionary Life
Random Vonnegut book
The Second Hitchhikers guide book
Obama's Dreams from My Father
One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest
The Tipping Point - Malcolm Gladwell
I will probably just randomly pick one tom, but I am set for awhile. I have three full bookcases in my tiny room.Comment

I'm currently reading The Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks. Very easy read and quite funny. It's one of those books you can pick up and read for a short period of time if you want, you just blow through the whole thing.
Going to be jumping into World War Z after this.GT: Herkyalert

I'm reading 'How to win friends and influence people' at the moment. It's ancient now but is still a good read and teaches some valuable lessons imo.Comment

Re: OS Book Club Pt II
I started reading A Game of Thrones last night, but only read the first 20 or so pages. I'm excited. I brought it to work to read on my lunch break.
I'm thinking I'm going to switch off between this series and Cormac McCarthy's Border Trilogy over the next several months.
