Yeah, the dog is more dangerous to the cat then otherwise. Thankfully, you can train a dog better. Basically have to make sure the cat is there and bring the dog around the cat and everytime the dog starts sniffing, chasing, or just really paying any mind toward the cat, you've got to show him that's bad in whatever way works best (obviously, humanely).

My dog doesn't pay the cat mind most of the time. Sometimes he'll test his bounds and the cat will give him a swat. Sometimes the cat will rub up on the dog, and sometimes the cat will hear the dog pounding up the steps and become very alert and ready to defend. They don't have to be completely good all the time, as my dog still chases my cat every now and then, but as long as he isn't really dangerous towards them, I let it slide though I will give him a "Bad dog!" when I catch him. He's sneaky. Vice versa, the cat will mess with dog's tail randomly, but I let that slide mostly. Favorites. But the dog is the bigger animal and must restrain himself over a little itty bitty kitty.

It should work out. We rescued a dog that was 10 or 11 and had never been a house-dog, and he went crazy over the ferretts and cats at first. Then he just calmed down. So it's not impossible. Just gotta minimize the conflict.

Do any of you guys experience this phenomenon? When there's a big test, like an LSAT for example, you have people who already took the test in months/years past wishing luck to the people who are about to take it?

There was an LSAT conducted today, and I saw multiple people posting "Good luck to those taking the LSAT! You guys will rock it!" statuses or messages.

Now, if you're a law school student or a lawyer, why the hell would you wish luck for other people? Don't lawyers and prospective lawyers understand the concept of oversaturation? If I was a lawyer, why would I want other people crowding the profession?

This whole "good luck" thing just stinks to me of fake BS to look good and caring.

I know there are some people who really, truly are nice and want people to do well, but overall I never understood it.

I never tell people good luck unless I mean it. That may come off bad, but at least I don't lie to you. If someone tells me something and a normal person would usually say good luck, I don't unless I really wish them luck.

                    I'm the complete opposite.

I will say good luck , how are you , how was your weekend , ect ect.... just to be polite. Reality is I really don't care.

The lockout thread in the NBA forum is pure gold. The NBA and its players have made more progress then the guys in that thread.

I ask how people are and stuff like that, but never good luck unless I mean it. I guess I'm just strange like that.

It's like when someone asks me how my day was and I say "Good, how was yours?". I don't really care how their day was, I'm just asking to be nice.
