5months of working out is definitely worth it.

Re: OS Weight Gain 2011
Yeah figured it was worth it, but the nearest one for me that doesn't require some stupid contract is like 10-15 miles away from my house. Just gotta figure out my budget when I have time to see if I can work in the monthly fee/gasSaints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

Re: OS Weight Gain 2011
Sadly i'm starting to realize now that my metabolism is seriously changing, gotta start eating more meals throughout the day instead of really just a snack before work at 1 then a big dinner.
Right now i'm 5'9" 163 lbs my goal is to lose some of the fat in my stomach that i've gained since I started being lazy after football season ended but at the same time get around maybe 170 lbs in hopefully mostly muscle gain before summerLast edited by Chrisksaint; 01-11-2011, 11:43 PM.Saints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

Re: OS Weight Gain 2011
I'm heading to the gym again tonight. Working on Pecks, Delts and Ticeps today.
I open each work out with a mile run.
Also, I drink tons of water (over a gallon a day).
Those looking for some good foods and snacks with high protein without breaking the bank should try:
Skim milk (a pint has 2 servings of 8g of protein and a quart has 4 servings of 8g of protein)
Beef Jerky (most are low in fat and very high in protein)
Peanut Butter SandwhichesComment

Re: OS Weight Gain 2011
You get disrespected either way, but when your skinny every one thinks your a weak *** punk though. I'd still rather be skinny, any day of the weak. I don't need to worry about losing weight or health issues that come along with it.-Ohio State-

Indeed it sucks. It's why I got picked over for a lot of sports teams but then I would play those same kids in tournaments during the summer and hit bullets by them or flash my leather.Comment

Re: OS Weight Gain 2011
I was never ever to play HS football because of my size, even though I was able to burn or break most the football teams ankles when we'd play FB out of school or in Gym. Sucks I never got to, but I'd have just gotten injured at my size.-Ohio State-

Re: OS Weight Gain 2011
If you want to gain weight drink a diet shake with each meal. Those have a lot in them so with eating a meal on top of that you should put some weight on. Most people only drink the shake for their meal you do both and I promise you will put weight on.Comment

Re: OS Weight Gain 2011
To be honest I would just eat as much juke food as you can because you will get fat. Then you can work out and turn that fat to muscle. I had a friend that was real skinny. He got on some meds for depression, so the meds made him eat a lot and he then work out after he put the weight on and turn most of that fat to muscle. You have eat more. For some of you you have fast metabolisms. So you need to just keep on eating.Comment

Re: OS Weight Gain 2011
You could check the terms on the gyms that have contracts. Mine is a one year contract, but if you move a certain distance away, you can get out of it. Maybe they have something like that.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment

Re: OS Weight Gain 2011
Yeah that is what happened to me. I moved almost a month into a new contract and I still paid for awhile but then stopped sending the checks. When I moved back and they asked about my balance, I told them that I had moved and they were like "Well, why didn't you say so?" Then they waived my fees. Pretty sweet!Comment
