    Re: OS Weight Gain 2011

Here http://webcast.bodybuilding.com/fits...anmassdiet.pdf is something I've used to put on 6 pounds and I'm in my fourth week with no fat gain. I'm on the 3,000 plan. I'm also following the workout plan. Things working great thus far.

What those guys said but I would make a strong point that junk food isn't even fuel for the body. It's doing far more harm than good. I completely stopped eating junk food/ stopped drinking soda and have never felt better.

I agree with this too. I'm just saying, I at least understand eating junk food to bulk up, since it is much easier and cheaper to eat Mcdonalds all the time than eat enough eggs, chicken, fish, etc. to bulk up, especially with a fast metabolism. But saying I'm going to put on 15 pounds and then I'll start working out makes no sense to me.

So I still don't get why your plan is to gain some weight just buy eating fast food and then later start working out. Why not start now? People always say I'm going to start going to the gym after...... It almost never works out.
I just don't think you guys understand the stuff I went through because of how skinny I was.

Plus, I've seen more girls with bigger guys than girls with skinny guys.

My friend, to say that there are others completely unlike you is asinine.

I'm 145 right now. I'm skinny as crap. My freshman year in high school, I was 100 pounds and 5 foot tall. I've heard all of the skinny jokes, I've heard all of the weak jokes. I've heard all of the "He's not big enough" to be on our team comments. Heck, I'm an extremely pale person and I get made fun of that too. One of my nicknames is Captain Cancer. Been there, done that.

So if I may ask, why do you want to gain this weight?

For myself, it is so I can play soccer and hockey at a level that I used to be able too. Also, so I can look healthy as well as feel healthy.

Girls are going to like you a lot more if you are toned and they know that you care about your body. That's +looks points and +personality points.

Lost a little bit of fat I think and gained 5lbs, good solid month especially with getting used to weightlifting again after taking a few months off.

                JJLinn,

You can gain weight two ways: fat or muscle.

                You are choosing strictly fat.

I am confused why you are so happy about this.

So why not put in the hard work to actually feel better about yourself, have a healthier and better body, and have more energy instead of half-assing by eating crap and not working out?

I guarantee if you start working out now and eating healthy foods to help you gain weight (there are PLENTY out there) that you'll have way more energy and your bad sleeping habits will change.
