Tacomas are awesome! I had a 2002 tacoma 4X4 with the TRD package. I loved that truck and still miss it. It was a V6 and got great gas mileage too.

Re: OS Cars Thread
Should have some new pics of the 2000 Jimmy up here tomorrow. We painted the hooks and added silver pin stripes on the side...Nothing crazy but the car was really plain, so we needed to add something.Comment

Just got a 97 honda accord, the radio turns on, but no sound comes from the speakers, checked the fuses and they are all good. Any idea what it could be? Also the ac and heater buttons dont light up when pushed in, any idea on that? I'm not a car guru so any help is appreciated.PSN - SwangKang169

Re: OS Cars Thread
Depends on the asking price.
$50,000? Lower
$25,000? Lower
$10,000? Might be pretty goodSOS Madden League (PS4) | League Archives

Re: OS Cars Thread
If anyone lives in jersey DO NOT go to Lawrenceville Lexus. They cheated us out of so much money and lies it's crazy I'm ready to scream."Okay, here's the story. I come from the gutter. I know that. I got no education... but that's okay. I know the street, and I'm making all the right connections. With the right woman, there's no stopping me. I could go right to the top."

Re: OS Cars Thread
Hoping to finalize the deal on the Tacoma today. We left yesterday after they refused to come down another 3 grand and I just got a phone call about 10 minutes ago asking me to come back down and see if we can work something out.
I posted it in OT yestersyay, but I called around for insurance quotes.
21 yr old male with no tickets or insurance claims and All State wanted 253 dollars and a 600 dollar deposit. State Farm wanted 298 dollars a month and no deposit. Geico only wants 100 dollars a month with no deposit.
That for a 2008 Tacoma TRD 4WD / 4DoorComment

I already have the car, the problem is they sold me a car that was in a accident and lied and said it was their loaner car. Thats the 1st problem. Which is already being dealt with.
2nd problem I got charged for over $900 of work that was suppose to be covered under the warrenty.
I took it to a different Lexus dealer, and they were the ones telling me to get an attoreny and invistage this.
I still have the BS CarFax they made upand showed me saying it was only a loaner. But the other dealer was able to find the real one after about 2min looking on the computer where its stated the car was in a accident. And she returned the car after it was fixed.
A bunch of drama! No more luxury cars for me!"Okay, here's the story. I come from the gutter. I know that. I got no education... but that's okay. I know the street, and I'm making all the right connections. With the right woman, there's no stopping me. I could go right to the top."

Re: OS Cars Thread
My mom is getting a new Audi so I'm getting her old 2006 one. I'll have pictures whenever I buy a new camera. The bad thing is that it's so expensive to maintain so I might just have my fun driving it for a little while and trade it in for something else.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: OS Cars Thread
Well, I've sat on these guys about this truck and I'm done with them, unless they call me and want to offer me something reasonable.
I can go down the road to the Toyota Dealership and buy a much nicer 2011 truck for a couple more thousand than they are wanting for an 08.
The only problem is, I don't have enough credit to get it, without a co signer and my dad doesn't seem enthusiastic about wanting to sign with me. They did it for the first vehicle I bought for myself and I never missed a payment, but they don't seem to want to do it now and I'm not going to bug them about it..Comment

Re: OS Cars Thread
@Chase It's a shame if they won't budge on the price, because you cannot tell the difference between an 08 and an 11. If I were you, I'd save up a nice down payment (4-5 grand) and go with a new car.
I would also suggest trying to build your credit over the next year or so. When you come back (hopefully with an awesome score), you can call the shots on any negotiations. When you are in a "needy" position, dealerships/lenders tend to lick their chops and try to screw you with a bad deal. Let me stop rambling here. Best of luck with your purchase!Originally posted by J. ColeFool me one time that's shame on you. Fool me twice can't put the blame on you. There is a new brother in the Nissan family for the Z. The Altima is no more and for the 2nd time I'm back to the Maxima. SL (Elite Package). Love it. With me, the Maxima and I were always love at first sight from the 4th generation (95-99) till the 7th (2009-today).Comment
