Haha, I used to do the same thing, sort of. Actually, my cousins and I would pretend to make talk shows. I also had a microcassette recorder that I used to take on trips with me and comment about the trip and stuff. I still have a whole bunch of the tapes, but the recorder broke years ago.

        Re: The Nostalgia Thread

It's hard for me name one gaming system that defined my childhood - from Grade school (late '80's- early 90's) up through HS Graduation (2000) I played all of the Nintendo systems almost equally: Gameboy, NES, SNES, and N64. I consider the Playstations more a part of my adult (or at least post-HS) life, except for some exposure to the original Playstation from '98 on (particularly the Squaresoft RPG's, and this is also when I truly got interested in Final Fantasy)

Just Nintendo in general was what I associate my childhood with, it's too hard to shoehorn it into one system.

I still watch an episode basically every morning while I'm getting ready for work. There's 4 every morning on TBS.

I'm confident I've seen every episode at least 10 times.

Guaranteed I've seen every episode at least 10 times, closer to 20, 25 even.

Oh...well I don't have cable or satellite. That is awesome though.

Yeah, after I posted that I thought to myself, "more like 20" LOL

I can tell what episode it is within the first 15 seconds.

It was heinous, the kids neck made some popping sound and he crumpled like a used bubble gum wrapper......That was the end of the stretch monster and my friends summer vacation, he was grounded for months.
My little brother and I both got a Stretch Monster for Christmas. Of course it didn't take long for me to talk him into seeing what was inside of his. I could talk my little brother into anything.

I've seen every episode of Saved By the Bell, including the College years, lol.

It used to still show in the morning when I was in school and that's what I watched in the morning. I'd still watch it if I caught it on.. lol

Remember when ABC had TGIF Thank Goodness Its Funny block of shows on Friday nights?

Perfect Strangers, Full House, Family Matters, Step By Step was on it. I just remember those Friday nights because my Mom made Fridays, Fried Chicken day and it always topped off Friday after a long week of school.

Then Boy meets world and Hangin' with Mr Cooper came after that too.

Full House would've been so much better if every single freaking episode didn't end in the emotional make up/teaching a lesson scene with the stupid music in the background. They should've cut...it...out.
